Inter are the top scorers in the league, netting 22 goals
Atalanta remain the only unbeaten team in Serie A
Roma boast the best defence having conceded four
This Serie A campaign is hotting up at both ends of the table with Napoli and Roma tied at the top while Fiorentina find themselves stuck in the relegation zone.
It’s set to be another weekend of enthralling action as attention turns to the tenth round of matches in Italy’s top division.
There’s a huge game at the San Siro as Milan host Roma on Sunday evening while leaders Napoli host high-flying Como on Saturday.
Udinese vs Atalanta (Saturday, 2pm)
Udinese have lost only once at home and take on Atalanta, who remain the only unbeaten side in Serie A. However, the hosts shouldn’t be too fearful as Ivan Juric’s side have actually drawn seven of their nine games so far. Another stalemate could be on the cards at Stadio Friuli.
Score prediction: Udinese 1-1 Atalanta
Napoli vs Como (Saturday, 5pm)
Napoli’s ascent to the top of the table has been based on winning every home game and that run can continue on Saturday. Como have enjoyed an impressive start but the quality possessed by the hosts may be too much to overcome.
Score prediction: Napoli 2-1 Como
Cremonese vs Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Few Serie A fans or pundits would have expected Cremonese to sit just a point behind Juventus at this stage of the season. However, even with Jamie Vardy off the mark, that gap may widen as the Turin giants should make it two wins from two.
Score prediction: Cremonese 1-3 Juventus
Verona vs Inter (Sunday, 11.30am)
Inter have the most effective attack in Serie A while Verona boast one of the weakest backlines in the league and so this result is only likely to go one way which is great news for the Nerazzurri as they attempt to keep up with Napoli and Roma
Score prediction: Verona 0-3 Inter
Torino vs Pisa (Sunday, 2pm)
Pisa are only out of the drop zone on goal difference and may have to wait to add to their points tally as Torino can claim a fourth home league victory of the campaign on Sunday afternoon.
Score prediction: Torino 2-0 Pisa
Fiorentina vs Leece (Sunday, 2pm)
Fiorentina have won all of their games in Europe but can’t buy a victory in Serie A this season. That may all change though at home to Leece as Fiorentina can win to overtake the Yellow and Reds and climb out of the bottom three.
Score prediction: Fiorentina 1-0 Leece
Parma vs Bologna (Sunday, 5pm)
Parma are the joint-lowest scorers in Serie A and could again fail to find the net against a Bologna side who are unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions and have scored 10 goals in five games.
Score prediction: Parma 0-2 Bologna
Milan vs Roma (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Milan have won their last four games at home while Roma have been victorious in all of their matches on the road this season and so it could well be that the two teams simply cancel each other out to end their respective runs.
Score prediction: Milan 1-1 Roma
Sassuolo vs Genoa (Monday, 5.30pm)
Home advantage will count for Sassuolo who can tighten their grip on the top ten with a victory over bottom club Genoa whose wait for a win may go on.
Score prediction: Sassuolo 2-0 Genoa
Lazio vs Cagliari (Monday, 7.45pm)
Lazio have drawn three of their last four matches while Cagliari have earned a point in each of their last two away games. The drawing trend could continue at Stadio Olimpico on Monday night.
Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Cagliari
