Thomas Tuchel has announced his 26-man England squad for World Cup 2026. Key exclusions include Harry Maguire, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden and Trent Alexander-Arnold
Surprise inclusions include Ivan Toney, John Stones and Jarell Quansah
England will begin their World Cup preparations with warm-up matches against New Zealand and Costa Rica on June 6th and 10th, respectively.

Tuchel’s final 26-man England squad has been selected from an initial 55-man pool.
He previously announced a broader 35-man group chosen for the international fixtures against Uruguay and Japan at Wembley Stadium. England will begin their World Cup campaign in Group L, competing against Croatia, Ghana, and Panama.
Tuchel favoured a 4-2-3-1 formation during the World Cup qualifiers.
