Gary Rowett’s football isn’t pretty at the best of times but to say Leicester were woeful in the home defeat to QPR would be an understatement. The Foxes were second to every ball and their measly expected-goals figure of 0.35 highlights their inability to create clear-cut chances.
Even when they do create opportunities, there is no guarantee inconsistent forwards Patson Daka and Jordan Ayew will find the net, and another miserable afternoon awaits the dejected Foxes on Saturday.
Watford showed the resilience Leicester have lacked when bouncing back from their weekend defeat at Stoke to beat a strong Wrexham side 3-1 on Tuesday and Ed Still’s Hornets are worthy favourites to take three points at Vicarage Road.
