After the early dismissal of their openers, captain Rohit Paudel steadied the innings, but it was the excellent partnership between Dipendra Singh Airee and Aarif Sheikh that formed the backbone of the chase. Both displayed excellent temperament and game awareness, crafting half-centuries. Their fluent stroke play kept Nepal well ahead of the required run rate, allowing them to chase down the target with three overs to spare. Although the UAE fought hard to defend their total, they struggled to apply sustained pressure as the runs continued to flow, enabling Nepal to comfortably secure the victory.
