Rio Ferdinand Urges Man Utd to Sign ‘Unbelievable’ Real Madrid Star Aurelien Tchouameni

Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to sign Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid this summer.
The Spanish giants have endured a tumultuous few weeks off the pitch with Tchouameni and Federico Valverde recently involved in a bust up that resulted in the latter going to hospital for treatment.
Centre-back Antonio Rudiger slapped left-back Alvaro Carreras, while Kylian Mbappe was seen having a row with a member of Alvaro Arbeloa’s backroom staff.
And to compound matters, Real Madrid fell to a 2-0 loss to rivals Barcelona at the weekend, which saw the Blaugrana crowned La Liga champions.
Ferdinand urges club to sign Tchouameni
Ferdinand now believes that United should push to sign Tchouameni despite his recent off-field issues.
The former United defender believes that the Frenchman, who has been linked with an Old Trafford switch, would be an “unbelievable signing”.
“Tchouameni, allegedly, has had a bit of a fight with Valverde in training. That wouldn't worry me one bit, him coming to Manchester United. I want a bit of fight, I want a bit of aggression,” Ferdinand said on his Rio Ferdinand Presents YouTube channel.
“He's not somebody who has been places and then they go: "Oh guys, he's trouble." I've met him, he's a lovely guy.
“He's quite softly spoken but if you put him into a 90-minute match where it means something, then the guy can play. He can do both sides of the game: he can play but can also rattle a few and get around people - he's versatile.
“I really like Tchouameni, if we can get him, it would be an unbelievable signing. If we can pounce in a moment where there's a bit of destabilisation at the club and his position is a bit of a concern for them, then I think we've got to strike.”
Midfield the priority for Man Utd
United are expected to go hard to sign at least one central midfielder in the off-season with Casemiro departing at the end of the season.
Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte has also been linked with a summer exit having struggled to consolidate a starting spot for the Manchester giants.
Tchouameni isn’t the only midfielder on United’s wishlist, with Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton also on the club’s radar.
Elliot Anderson was another wanted by United, but the Nottingham Forest star is set to sign for rivals Manchester City in the summer.
