Man Utd and Liverpool Eye €45m Francisco Conceicao Transfer as Juventus Star Draws Mohamed Salah Comparisons

Premier League pair Manchester United and Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Juventus wideman Francisco Conceicao, reports Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Portuguese forward has been a key player for the Old Lady this season, making 23 league starts, and his performances under Luciano Spalletti have caught the eye of the English giants.
Both United and Liverpool are expected to reinforce their respective attack lines when the transfer window opens this summer.
United and Liverpool prepared to fight for Conceicao
United, who are on the cusp of a return to the Champions League following their 2-1 win over Brentford on Monday night, are looking to strengthen in the final third ahead of the coming campaign.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are gearing up for the departure of Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian departing the Merseyside giants in the summer.
Salah only penned a two-year deal at Anfield last year but will leave Liverpool at the end of the season for free.
The Reds are considering their attacking targets, with RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande high on the club’s wishlist.
Conceicao and Salah comparison 'correct'
And Conceicao has emerged as a potential candidate for the right wing spot for the defending Premier League champions, with the wideman once compared to the Egyptian.
On the comparison between Salah and Conceicao, Spalletti has said: “The comparison is correct.
“He’s a young lad, he still has a lot of experience to gain, he needs to convince himself that he can play inside a bit, and having a man behind him shouldn’t make him anxious. If he receives the ball on the outside and faces you, however, he becomes unmarkable.
“He needs to improve his shot quality, because Salah is top-notch, but Conceiçao has this intensity and ferocity in one-on-one situations that makes him really difficult to keep up with.”
United face Liverpool this weekend
The Portugal international has scored three goals and provided an additional four assists in Serie A this season having made his loan move to Juventus permanent last summer.
However, despite a sub-par goal haul, Juventus will demand at least €45m to cash in on the former Porto star.
United and Liverpool lock horns in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon with the pair separated by just three points in the race to finish third.
