Manchester City are prepared to part company with Tijjani Reijnders and Omar Marmoush this summer, but Savinho is still wanted despite his struggles, reports insider Pete O'Rourke.

Pep Guardiola has brought both Reijnders and Marmoush to the club in recent years. The Dutch midfielder only signed in the summer, and kicked off his spell as a Citizen with a goal and an assist on debut.

But his production has dropped markedly and he can hardly get a sniff at the minute. Marmoush, meanwhile, has had peaks and troughs during his time at the Etihad, which began in January 2025.

In 16 Premier League games during his debut season, the Egyptian forward scored seven goals and assisted a further two. This season, he has just one goal and three assists in 17 games.

Insider O'Rourke has told Football Insider that City are prepared to push Marmoush out to raise funds for new signings, while Reijnders could also be moved on given he's been largely ineffective of late.

Though City might well push Marmoush out given some lean returns, fellow attacker Savinho, who has just two assists in 19 games, should be same from having his head on the chopping block.

Savinho is going nowhere

While O'Rourke accepts there may be a number of clubs sniffing around the Brazilian winger in the summer, he feels City boss Guardiola will choose to keep him.

O'Rourke said: “It was Pep Guardiola who really fought to keep him [last summer] and urged the club to keep hold of him.

“He was rewarded with a new contract just last October that runs until 2031. We know how hard it is to break into City’s star-studded starting eleven.

“It’s obvious that Guardiola is a big fan of him, and I don’t think he will be rushing him out the door because he knows that Man City will have so many games to play next season, so they’ll need a lot of depth and strength in that squad.

“I’m sure there are numerous clubs keeping tabs on Savinho’s situation hoping that the lure of a regular first team football could be enough to prise him away from City.”

Indeed, Tottenham, who attempted to lure the winger through the door in January, are expected to remain interested, but it seems Guardiola won't budge when it comes to his availability.
