Haaland, where do we even begin? Seven World Cup goals and counting!
Erling Haaland wins it for Norway!
Erling Haaland wins it for Norway!

Erling Braut Haaland, we're out of superlatives. Three attempts on target against Brazil, two goals - now level with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe as the tournament's top scorer with seven goals. It's ridiculous to think this is only his first-ever World Cup. And this performance comes against Brazil, of all teams! Never have three different strikers have scored 7 goals each in a World Cup, he's up there amongst the very best. Bruno Guimaraes will not rest easy tonight after having his poor penalty saved early in the first half and while Haaland will grab the headlines, Norway's shotstopper Orjan Nyland single-handedly kept them in the game at times with some brilliant goalkeeping, a man-of-the-match performance. A powerful, textbook Haaland header opened the score for Norway on 79th minute, and he doubled the lead with a super finish from outside on the 90th. Neymar scored a very late penalty, but it was too little too late. Brazil head home; Norway will face Mexico or England for their very first World Cup quarter-final.
