Pedro Neto would be open to moving to Liverpool from Chelsea, as Indy Kaila has become the second journalist to report on that potential move.
The Reds have already signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna, but another winger transfer is a necessity. Their next move out wide is the big one, as that'll be the man who replaces Mohamed Salah.
The shoes are huge ones to fill, after the Egyptian superstar was responsible for 257 goals and 123 assists for Liverpool.
Reported to be on the radar of late is Chelsea's Neto, and Indy Kaila suggests he'd jump at the move.
A post on X simply stated: 'Chelsea winger Pedro Neto would be open to joining Liverpool.'
It is not the first suggestion this summer that the Chelsea man would abandon Stamford Bridge in favour of a move to Anfield.
Neto to Liverpool already reported
Indeed, journalist Dave Davis has also stated the Blues winger would be open to that route, explaining how Liverpool could get the move sorted.
He said: “Everyone’s digging on the same thing, aren’t they? Who are Liverpool going to move for? It’s clear the wingers are the priority, and I’m saying that plural.
"We’ve known that all summer. Liverpool are now on the alternate list.
“Liverpool seem to be back in bed with Jorge Mendes, whose client is Pedro Neto. He is very distinct, Neto, if I’m trying to be positive about this. He is a carrier, his passing is good.
“He is a crosser. The cross expected threat, 95th percentile. The cross value added, 93rd percentile.
“Our info is getting this stood up today. Neto would jump at this. [Liverpool] nearly did him when he was at Wolves.”
Neto didn't have the best of seasons in 2025-26, with 10 goals and 10 assists coming in all competitions - and six of those goal contributions in the FA Cup.
But there were few Chelsea players who did have great seasons, with the Blues finishing 10th in the table, five places below Liverpool.
With that said, perhaps a move to a side who are better placed could see him up his production. Whether he'd be able to get anywhere close to Salah's overall impact remains to be seen.
However, with a number of the Reds' other options being taken off the table, and Neto willing to make the move, he could be one of their most likely additions.
