Amid speculation over the future of Tottenham full-back Pedro Porro, boss Roberto De Zerbi won't let him go, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Porro has perhaps been one of the most consistent players despite a rough time for Spurs during the last couple of seasons. That's why there are some big clubs on the hunt for him.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are both believed to be keen on the Spanish right-back, but if Tottenham boss De Zerbi gets his way, he'll be going nowhere.

Insider Romano states the boss sees Porro as a crucial player in his side and the club don't want him to leave.

Indeed, despite reports on his future, the insider is adamant that Tottenham won't back down on Porro.Romano revealed Real interest.

It was Romano who revealed Real's interest in Porro for this summer window of late.

He stated on June 1: “Real Madrid plan to sign a right-back this summer with Denzel Dumfries and Pedro Porro among options being considered.“Ivan Fresneda has also been scouted recently.”.

It seems that the deal for Dutch defender Dumfries to join Real is done, with Romano also since confirming that his medical was done.

That, coupled with Tottenham's stance, likely ends their interest in Porro, though there have been more recent reports in regards to Man City's interest.

It's been said that they have made contact with the agents of the Spaniard, who Spurs are said to value at £60million.

But with Romano usually in the know, it does not feel there's a fee that low that Tottenham would accept to see the right-back head out.

Indeed, the doors appear to be closed and it feels it would be difficult for any side to open them.
