Bukayo Saka Signs New Long-Term Arsenal Contract as England Star Commits Future to Premier League Leaders

Arsenal have confirmed that Bukayo Saka has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
The England international came through the Gunners ranks and made his debut for the north London side in 2018.
Arsenal announce Saka deal
“Bukayo Saka has signed a new long-term contract with us,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“Our 24-year-old joined our Hale End Academy as an eight-year-old in May 2010 and has since progressed to become the leading goalscorer, assister and appearance maker in our current squad – with 78 goals and nearly 300 club appearances in all competitions.
“Bukayo made his first team debut at 17 in November 2018, before being named Arsenal Player of the Year in both 2021 and 2022.
“He was also named PFA Young Player of the Year in 2022/23 and was in the PFA Team of the Season that same year. Our forward was also named as England Men’s Player of the Year for both 2021/22 and 2022/23.
“A leader of our forward line with his consistent performances, establishing himself as one of the best wingers in world football, Bukayo has won our Arsenal Player of the Month award more times than any other player since it began in 2012.”
Saka 'feeling amazing'
On his new deal, Saka said: “I'm feeling amazing. I think it's a fantastic moment for my family and for me. I feel immense joy to continue my journey at this club.
“For me, it was an easy commitment and I just hope to win everything here.
“The journey that I've been on, from where I started to where I am now, and the journey the team's been on as well, is a special one.
“I believe the next few years are going to be the years that we get over the line, and we're able to win trophies and make history for this club. We're back where we belong, fighting for everything.”
Arsenal hoping to respond to midweek setback
Saka scored the opening goal in Arsenal’s eventual 2-2 draw with Wolves on Wednesday night.
And next up for the Premier League leaders is a trip to rivals Tottenham on Sunday for the North London Derby.
