The stage is set for the 2026 Europa League final, with Germany's Freiburg facing England's Aston Villa in Istanbul on May 20.

Since its inception as the UEFA Cup in 1971, 30 clubs have got their hands on Europe’s second-tier club trophy; 14 of them have won it multiple times.

Let’s take a look at all the sides who have won the Europa League over the years.

Every Club to Win the Europa League

The first UEFA Cup took place in the 1971/72 season – and until the 1996/97 campaign, it was a straight knockout affair culminating in a two-legged final.

A group stage was introduced for 2004/05, with the competition being rebranded as the Europa League in 2009.

Tottenham were the first club to get their hands on the trophy, beating fellow English side Wolves 3-2 on aggregate in the 1972 final. In total, 30 clubs from 11 countries have won the Europa League / UEFA Cup, with Spurs also winning the most recent edition of the competition.
