Rangers are one of only four teams yet to pick up a point in this season's Europa League
Four of Roma's eight wins this season have been by a 1-0 scoreline
Recommended bet: Roma to win 1-0
Rangers will be aiming to pick up their first points in this season's Europa League when they welcome Italian giants Roma to Ibrox on Thursday.
The Gers currently sit bottom of the league phase standings after losing their opening three matches against Genk, Sturm Graz and Brann — the latter of those defeats coming in Danny Rohl's first game in charge.
Since then, Rohl has inspired Rangers to back-to-back Scottish Premiership wins over Kilmarnock and Hibernian, but Sunday's extra time defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic in the League Cup semi-finals was another blow.
Roma also come into this match on the back of a defeat, going down 1-0 at AC Milan in Serie A, while the Giallorossi have successive European games to Lille and Viktoria Plzen, meaning Rangers can go level on points with them with a win.

Team news
Rangers' cause was not helped against Celtic following the first-half sending off of Thelo Aasgaard, but the Norwegian is available for this game, while Connor Barron, who was suspended for the Hampden defeat, could also feature.
Rabbi Matondo (knee), Dujon Sterling (Achilles) and Kieran Dowell (foot) all remain on the treatment table, while after going to extra-time on Sunday, Rohl may look to freshen things up, with the likes of Djeidi Gassama, Mikey Moore and Bojan Miovski hoping to earn recalls.
Roma will be without forward Paulo Dybala after he injured himself while missing a penalty in the defeat to Milan.
Evan Ferguson (ankle), Angelino (bronchitis), and Tommaso Baldanzi and Devis Vasquez (both ineligible) are all unavailable.

The stats
Rangers have never faced Roma in a competitive match but they have failed to win or score in any of their last four meetings with Italian opposition.
The Gers have lost each of their last six matches in Europe — they have never been beaten in seven continental games on the spin.
Roma have not faced Scottish opposition since beating Dundee United 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals of the European Cup in 1984.
After winning five of their opening six matches this season across all competitions, Roma have suffered four defeats across their last seven games.

Prediction
Rangers have shown some improvement under Rohl, who has won two of his four games in charge, but they have still lost eight times this season, including all three of their fixtures in the Europa League.
The first two of those defeats — to Genk and Sturm Graz — were by a solitary goal, while Rangers showcased plenty of resilience by taking Celtic to extra time on Sunday despite playing with 10 men for much of that game following Aasgaard's sending off.
That should give the Gers some encouragement, but they are facing a Roma side that have impressed for much of this season, even if results of late have been mixed.
The Giallorossi are just a point behind the leaders in Serie A and they have made a habit of grinding out results under Gian Piero Gasperini, with seven of their eight wins this season coming by a one-goal margin.
Of the 13 games Roma have played across all competitions, eight have finished 1-0 one way or another, and that could play out again in Glasgow on Thursday, with the visitors fancied to edge to a narrow success.
