Bayern Munich Weighing Up Summer Move for Arsenal and Liverpool Transfer Target Anthony Gordon

Bayern Munich are plotting a summer move for Arsenal and Liverpool target Anthony Gordon as competition for Luis Diaz, reports Sky Germany.
The Newcastle man is widely expected to leave St. James’ Park later this year with the Magpies unlikely to secure a European finish.
Gordon is tipped to remain in England, with Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool pondering a push for the former Everton man.
Champions-elect Bayern want Gordon
However, they’d now continental competition for Gordon with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
Bayern are going strong in the Bundesliga this season and the champions-elect sit 12 points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund with five games to play.
And they aren’t willing to rest on their laurels as they consider dipping into the Premier League market once more.
Diaz thriving for FC Hollywood
FC Hollywood spent big to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool last summer, and the Colombian has been a revelation for Vincent Kompany’s side since joining from the Merseyside giants, scoring 15 times and laying on an additional 11 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
Diaz isn’t the only former Premier League star thriving in Germany, with Michael Olise and Harry Kane both thriving at the Allianz Arena.
The German side don't have elite-level cover for Diaz, however, and would target Gordon to provide competition for the Colombia international.

Bayern, though, would face stiff competition from the Premier League duo as both Arsenal and Liverpool gear up to strengthen on the left flank in the off-season.
Newcastle, meanwhile, face a battle on their hands to retain their star players following a disappointing season.
Not only has Gordon been linked with a summer exit, Sandro Tonali, Nick Woltemade and Bruno Guimaraes, among others, are attracting watchful glances from some of Europe’s elite sides.
