Bundesliga pair Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on Tottenham midfielder Archie Gray, reports TEAMtalk.

Gray moved to Spurs last summer following an impressive breakout season with Leeds as the north London side beat Brentford to the signing of the versatile 19-year-old.

The teenager has started 14 league matches for Spurs this season and his showings for the relegation-threatened side have caught the eye of the German giants.

Spurs’ precarious Premier League position has seen the pair, among other English top-flight sides, register their interest in the former Leeds star.

Bundesliga pair ready to firm up Gray interest

Able to play in a number of positions, Gray’s versatility appeals to the Bundesliga top-two.

Bayern will lose Leon Goretzka in the summer when his contract expires, with a Premier League switch on the cards for the Germany international.

Arsenal and Spurs have both been linked with a move for Goretzka, who has been a mainstay in the Bayern XI since joining from Schalke in 2018.

Dortmund, meanwhile, are in the market for a midfielder who can play in a number of different roles after Emre Can suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to rivals Bayern.

Niko Kovac’s side had considered a move for Gray when he left Elland Road two years’ ago and would likely consider the England U21 international should Spurs succumb to relegation.

However, the Bundesliga pair would also face competition from Real Madrid, with the La Liga powerhouse also believed to be keeping a watchful eye on Gray.

Spurs face crunch Palace clash on Thursday

Spurs sit just four points above the relegation zone ahead of their welcome of London rivals Crystal Palace on Thursday night.

Igor Tudor has lost his opening two games in charge of the capital club following Thomas Frank’s dismissal last month, falling to a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal and then a 2-1 loss at Fulham.

Spurs remain the only Premier League side yet to win a game in 2026 having drawn four and lost six of their opening 10 top-flight matches to kick off the year.
