Wimbledon Women’s Singles outright predictions: Anisimova can make the final again

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has yet to win Wimbledon
Amanda Anisimova lost last year’s final in devastating fashion
Recommended bets:

Aryna Sabalenka is the 3/1 favourite to win the Wimbledon Women’s Singles with LiveScoreBet this year, but the world No. 1 is on a collision course for a key meeting with Emma Raducanu in round three this year.
Sabalenka, who leads Raducanu 3-0 in their personal series, edged past the Briton 7-6 6-4 at the All England Club in the last 32 last year, so the Briton may see this as a fine upset opportunity. That said, Raducanu is reported to be feeling pain in her left shin.
Serena Williams, who has been awarded a wild-card entry into the tournament, is 40/1 to win her 24th Grand Slam singles crown in London in the coming days.
But it is ten years since the 44-year-old American defeated Angelique Kerber to collect her seventh All England Club singles crown and punters should probably be looking for a three-figure price before getting involved.

Anisimova’s all-round package getting stronger
Amanda Anisimova’s effort in the Wimbledon final last year, when she lost 6-0 6-0 to Iga Swiatek, might suggest she is one of the mentally weaker players on the WTA Tour.
Far from it. Weeks after the American’s lowest point on a tennis court last July, Anisimova was stepping out against Sabalenka in the final of the US Open. She failed to win that title match too, but that was some effort in the wake of her London humbling.
Anisimova is good enough to back up her determination too, so don’t be surprised if she challenges again on the London lawns, even after going through tennis’s very own version of hell there last year.
Anisimova, even at 24, is actually one of the most complete performers on the circuit and after a fairly quiet time of things in 2026, she should be fresh and raring to go for another crack at the grass-court crown. And should she make back-to-back Wimbledon finals, the story could be different one year on.

Grass-court penny may drop for Gauff this year
Coco Gauff, 22, has already won two of the four major singles titles and it might be worth taking a chance on her to come good on the nippy grass this year.
Gauff has done some of her best work on clay in the last two seasons, winning the French Open last year. But she’s already a US Open champion and it’s surely only a matter of time before she finds a way to prevail on the London grass and the Melbourne hardcourts.
Pinning down those dates is not an easy task for outright bettors but Gauff is in a winnable-looking second quarter of the draw - compatriot Jessica Pegula looks her biggest threat in the section - and the seventh seed may just kick on if reaching the last four.
However, considering Gauff has yet to make it past the last 16 at Wimbledon and was sent packing in round one 12 months ago, there is little point having an each-way interest on the Atlanta native with a win-only punt advised.
