Wales crushed North Macedonia 7-1 in their final group game
Bosnia have just three wins in their last 12 away from home
Recommended bet: Wales to win
Wales endured a mixed qualifying campaign through the group stages and they went into their final fixture against North Macedonia knowing they had to win to claim a playoff spot.
The Dragons handled that pressure in style as they ended up thrashing the Lynxes 7-1 to set up this meeting with Bosnia.
Bosnia’s qualification bid has been a little more straightforward up to this point. They finished second in their group behind Austria, although they perhaps had a kinder draw with San Marino, Romania and Cyprus completing their group of five.
The winner of Thursday’s game will progress to the final, where either Italy or Northern Ireland will await.

Prediction
Wales demonstrated they can perform under pressure with a huge win over North Macedonia in a must-win game in the final batch of group-stage fixtures, and they can follow that up by beating Bosnia.
Home advantage looks a massive boost for Craig Bellamy’s troops as they have won five of their last six competitive games on Welsh soil, while the visitors are generally poor travellers.
Bosnia did manage to navigate their own group stage campaign without losing on the road but that doesn’t necessarily tell the whole story. A win in San Marino was obviously an expected result but a draw in Cyprus was less impressive. They did pick up a handy win in Romania and a point in Austria, but they rode their luck in the latter and Austria simply needed to avoid defeat to top the group.
Bellamy appears to have galvanised this Wales side and they go into Thursday’s game following their most impressive performance of his tenure, and they should be able to make home advantage count and secure a place in the final inside 90 minutes.
