  • Spurs have just one clean sheet in 14 games across all competitions

  • Leeds have scored three or more goals in eight Premier League games this season

Three wins in their last four games mean Leeds United have all but secured their Premier League status ahead of a trip to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Things have improved for Spurs under Roberto De Zerbi, but survival is far from assured and it will be a nervous energy that permeates the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night.

Leeds have improved on the road recently and the Lilywhites' home record is uninspiring, so goals could be the way to go here.

Team news

Spurs are likely to be without Dominic Solanke (hamstring) again, but Rodrigo Bentancur and Richarlison are expected to be available after going off with minor niggles in the win at Aston Villa.

Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Wilson Odobert (knee), Ben Davies (ankle), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), Xavi Simons (knee), Cristian Romero (knee) and Guglielmo Vicario (hernia) all miss out, but James Maddison could get some game time for the first time this season.

Leeds are without in-form forward Noah Okafor (calf), as well as Gabriel Gudmundsson (thigh) and Ilia Gruev (knee), but Pascal Struijk (hip) may return to the squad.

The stats

Tottenham have won eight of the last nine Premier League meetings of these two teams.

Leeds have scored three or more goals in eight Premier League games this season and the Whites are on a six-game unbeaten streak in the league (W3, D3).

Spurs' haul of 11 points from 17 home games is a Premier League joint-low this season alongside relegated Burnley.

Leeds have a win and five draws in their last six away league games, while eight of their last 10 on the road have ended in stalemate.

Tottenham are nine home league games without a win since beating Brentford in December and nine of their previous 12 games have gone over 2.5 goals.

Prediction

Tottenham are seeking a third straight league win for the first time in nearly 15 months and the Lilywhites are 10/13 with LiveScore Bet to gain it at Leeds' expense.

The pressure has not gone away and with just two wins in North London in 17 attempts, it is clear that Spurs are struggling on their own patch.

The visitors, meanwhile, have lost just one of the last 10 on the road in the league, a remarkable game at Newcastle in January in which they conceded twice in stoppage time.

Nine of Tottenham's last 12 games in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals, while each of Leeds' last four in the league has featured a minimum of three goals.

Daniel Farke's side have scored twice at Manchester United and Bournemouth recently, making it 10 in their last four in the league.

Tottenham's only clean sheet in 14 league and cup games was at Wolves, so goals looks the way to play this one.
