Tottenham have four matches left to preserve their Premier League status and they look set for a tough night at Aston Villa, who look assured of a place in next season's Champions League.
Villa have won their last four home matches and, while there is potential for manager Unai Emery to rest players for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Nottingham Forest, they could still have too much for Spurs, who gave themselves a lifeline with a 1-0 win at already relegated Wolves last week.
Roberto De Zerbi's team still have plenty of work to do and another Midlands win has to be considered essential for the Londoners.

Prediction
Tottenham are deep in the relegation mire and even when they gained the boost of a win at Wolves last week, the Molineux victory was tainted by Simons' knee injury and they have a mountain to climb if they are to stay up.
That 1-0 success came as they kept their first clean sheet since a goalless draw at Brentford on New Year's Day, but, while Simons’ absence has a detrimental effect on their ability to create chances, there are also concerns at the other end of the pitch.
They could not stay firm in De Zerbi’s first game as manager when they conceded a late goal in a 2-2 draw against his former club Brighton and they face a Villa team who have scored 12 goals in their last four matches.
With Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers capable of causing problems for any Premier League defence, there is scope for the hosts to net at least twice and add to Spurs' misery.
Score prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Tottenham
