Liverpool icon Alisson will reportedly be allowed a 'smooth exit' from Liverpool, who have opened the door for his move after previously wanting him to stay, reports TuttoSport.
Alisson is one of Liverpool's main modern day icons. The goalkeeper has two Premier League medals and a Champions League, having played 333 games for the Reds.
Juventus have been making a strong push for him of late, and it's reported his 'yes is unquestionable' with other outlets also suggesting that he's ready to make the move.
Indeed, Alisson is said to have agreed to a three-year deal with the Serie A side, who will play in the Europa League next season, not the Champions League, after finishing sixth.
It has been suggested that all is missing is Liverpool's acceptance of the deal, and now, TuttoSport states they had been yet to make a firm decision.
But now, the Reds have opened the door to Alisson's 'smooth exit' after the goalkeeper entered into dialogue with the club.
It's said the excellent relationship between the player and club have facilitated his seamless exit, without any major financial problems.
If the report is to be believed, then Alisson's exit announcement likely will not be far away, given the season has now ended.
Alisson will be third icon to leave
Alisson's exit will be third of a Liverpool icon this summer, after Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson were already known to be departing.
All three have played in one of the best eras of football for Liverpool, and will be sorely missed by the club.
If Alisson's move is to be to Juventus, it seems Salah is the the only man without a confirmed destination post-Liverpool.
Indeed, left-back Robertson has long been linked with a move to Tottenham, who were said to be keen on the Scot in January, and once Roberto De Zerbi walked through the door as manager, it was suggested an agreement had been reiterated for the summer.
After Spurs survived on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday, it's believed his move to north London will go ahead without a hitch.
Insider Ben Jacobs said: ‘Andy Robertson set to join Spurs now their Premier League status is secure. Agreement in principle already in place.’
