Coventry are five points clear at the top of the Championship
Sixth-placed Wrexham are four points ahead of Southampton (7th) and Bristol City (8th)
Leicester are in the relegation zone and a point from safety
We are at the business end of the Championship season and there are 12 more crucial fixtures taking place, starting with Watford's trip to Bristol City on Friday and ending with Birmingham's home clash with Middlesbrough on Monday.
Bristol City vs Watford (Friday, 8pm)
Watford are five games without an away win in all competitions and they may struggle to get a positive result at play-off chasing Bristol City, who have won two of their last four games and are four points off Wrexham in sixth.
Score prediction: Bristol City 2-1 Watford
Derby vs Blackburn (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Blackburn's form has picked up since Michael O'Neill's appointment, with two wins from his three matches in charge, and another crucial three points can be collected at the expense of Derby.
The Rams have lost on their last two outings and have the fifth-worst home record in the division.
Score prediction: Derby 1-2 Blackburn
Leicester vs Norwich (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Leicester are on a nine-game run without a victory, a run of results which leaves them in the bottom three and they are in for further disappointment against a Norwich side who have won four of their last five away fixtures and have pulled away from relegation trouble.
Score prediction: Leicester 1-3 Norwich
Portsmouth vs Hull (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Hull have been excellent on their travels, winning six of their last seven in an unbeaten run, and they can boost their automatic-promotion hopes with a victory at Portsmouth, who have tasted success just six times at Fratton Park this season.
Score prediction: Portsmouth 1-3 Hull
Charlton vs Wrexham (Saturday, 3pm)
Just one win in five matches means Charlton are still in a battle to avoid the drop and they will find life tough when hosting in-form Wrexham, who have won four of their last six Championship assignments and have collected 13 points from the last 15 on offer on their travels.
Score prediction: Charlton 1-2 Wrexham
Coventry vs Stoke (Saturday, 3pm)
Three wins in a row has steadied the Coventry ship and the Championship leaders can take another step towards the Premier League with a win at home to Stoke, who lost their last away game 1-0 at Charlton and have not won on their travels since the beginning of January.
Score prediction: Coventry 3-0 Stoke
Ipswich vs Swansea (Saturday, 3pm)
Ipswich have the joint second-best home record in the division and they have won seven of their last eight games at Portman Road in all competitions heading into Saturday's visit of Swansea.
The Swans have lost three of their last four away games and went down 3-2 on their last visit to Ipswich in November 2023.
Score prediction: Ipswich 3-1 Swansea
Oxford vs West Brom (Saturday, 3pm)
It is a relegation six-pointer at the Kassam Stadium where Oxford, winless in their last seven in all competitions, host a West Brom side who have sacked manager Eric Ramsay after just nine matches in charge.
The Baggies have not won in their last 10 league games and they have collected just 11 points away from home, only relegated Sheffield Wednesday have less.
This is a tough one to call between two out-of-form teams and a share of the spoils could be on the cards.
Score prediction: Oxford 1-1 West Brom
Preston vs Millwall (Saturday, 3pm)
Preston have stumbled with just one win in nine games in all competitions and they could be in for a rough ride at home to Millwall, who have won three of their last four away matches and are hunting down Middlesbrough in second.
Score prediction: Preston 1-2 Millwall
QPR vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)
QPR were thumped 5-0 at Southampton on Tuesday and they may struggle to recover in time for Saturday's visit of Sheffield United, who have won four of their last seven and are still harbour hopes of a top-six finish.
Score prediction: QPR 1-3 Sheffield United
Sheffield Wednesday vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)
Relegated Sheffield Wednesday have not won since mid-September and they host a Southampton side on a seven-match unbeaten run in the league, winning five of those.
Score prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 0-3 Southampton
Birmingham v Middlesbrough (Monday, 8pm)
Middlesbrough are starting to stumble after recording two draws in a row and another share of the spoils could be on the cards when they head to Birmingham, who have had the most draws (7) at home of any team this season.
Score prediction: Birmingham 1-1 Middlesbrough
