Arsenal & Man City Target Nathaniel Brown Breaks Silence on €65m Transfer Links as Premier League Interest Grows

Arsenal and Manchester City target Nathaniel Brown has responded to speculation surrounding a potential move to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the finest attacking left-backs in world football, and his performances have caught the eye of the title chasing pair.
Arsenal and City linked with Brown
The Gunners are considering a move for the Eintracht Frankfurt man given Riccardo Calafiori’s injury issues and Myles Lewis-Skelly’s sub-par form when called upon.
City, meanwhile, are looking to add competition at left-back with Rayan Ait-Nouri the club’s only recognised left-sided defender in the squad.
Nico O’Reilly is able to operate at left-back but the England international is better served in midfield, with the Cityzens weighing up their options.
Brown responds to transfer talks
And Brown was quizzed about rumours linking him with a move to either the Emirates or the Etihad Stadium this summer by SportBILD.
“Yes, you do pick up on things like that, but it doesn’t influence me,” Brown began.
“I’m concentrating on the goals that are within my control. Nothing else interests me right now.”
Eintracht have slapped €65m asking price on Brown, and that fee would place the youngster among the most expensive defenders in world football.
Youngster discusses 'staggering' asking price
However, Brown insists he is focused on his football and performing on the pitch for club and country rather than a potential switch to the Premier League.
“It’s a truly staggering sum,” the Germany international continued. “But frankly speaking, I’m not giving numbers like that, or the possibility of a transfer this summer, a second thought.
“My focus is entirely on Eintracht and our goal of qualifying for Europe. And after that, I would really love to be part of the World Cup squad.
“Then, I’ll see what happens in the summer. It’s hard to make plans in football, which is why I don’t dwell on it.”
Eintracht star to make Germany World Cup squad?
Brown, who has four goals and four assists to his name in the Bundesliga this season, is tipped to make Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany squad for the 2026 World Cup.
However, he’s unlikely to oust RB Leipzig captain David Raum as first choice left-back for the national team this summer having only made his Germany debut last October.
