Yan Diomande Transfer News: Liverpool Target to Delay Decision as Arsenal and Man Utd Circle RB Leipzig Star

Liverpool's £87.3m transfer target Yan Diomande is prepared to wait until after the World Cup before deciding his future with Arsenal and Manchester United also keen on the winger, reports TEAMtalk.
Diomande is expected to be at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war between a number of European powerhouse sides this summer.
The Ivorian has exploded onto the scene this season, with his performances for RB Leipzig attracting watchful glances from elite teams.
Liverpool eye Diomande as a Salah replacement
Liverpool are tipped to firm up their interest in the winger later this year as they eye up Mohamed Salah replacements.
The Egyptian will leave the Reds at the end of the season, with a move to the Saudi Pro League expected.
And Liverpool are looking to sign the appropriate replacement for the iconic forward with Diomande high on the club’s wish list.
Reds face competition in Diomande race
The defending Premier League champions would face competition in the race to land Diomande, however, with Arsenal and United believed to be monitoring the winger’s situation in Germany.
That shouldn’t come as a surprise with the 19-year-old excelling in the Bundesliga this season having scored 10 goals and laid on an additional six assists for RB Leipzig.
His performances for RB Leipzig have also caught the eye of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich and 2025 Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Diomande prepared to wait on future decision
As such, the teenager is happy to wait until after the 2026 World Cup before deciding his next move.
The Elephants have been drawn alongside Germany, Ecuador and Curacao in Group E in North America this summer.
And Diomande is expected to make the Ivory Coast squad for football’s showpiece as the African powerhouse look to at least make it beyond the group stages.
