Arsenal Transfer News: Emmanuel Petit Urges Gunners to Sign “Diamond” Endrick from Real Madrid This Summer

Arsenal have been urged to sign “diamond” Brazilian striker Endrick from Real Madrid this summer.
The Gunners are expected to bolster their frontline in the off-season with Football.London reporting that the north London side have made checks on Bournemouth teenager Eli Junior Kroupi.
However, former Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit has suggested that the Premier League leaders instead pursue a move for Endrick.
Endrick thriving on loan at Lyon
The 19-year-old moved to Lyon on loan in January and has made an impressive impact for the French giants, scoring four goals and laying on an additional six assists for the Ligue 1 outfit, including a goal and assist in their recent 2-1 win at league leaders PSG.
Despite his notable showings under Paulo Fonseca, Endrick is unlikely to force his way into the Real Madrid starting XI having struggled for first team minutes in the first half of the season.
And Petit believes that Arsenal should prioritise a move for the Brazil international in their bid to add to their attack when the transfer window opens.
Petit would 'love' for Arsenal to sign Endrick
“He's so young, only 19 years old. He's very talented, very gifted, but he's like a crazy horse with a lot of energy,” Petit said.
“On the pitch, sometimes he's a little bit too selfish. But at the same time, he knows he has huge qualities.
“He needs to be in the right environment to improve and develop because this guy is a diamond.
“What kind of club would be very good for him? Given his qualities, I would love for him to come to Arsenal, to be honest with you.”
Gyokeres shines in Arsenal win over Fulham
Arsenal splashed the cash to strengthen in attack last summer as they brought in Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke from Sporting CP and Chelsea, respectively.
And Gyokeres played a central role as the Gunners opened up a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday evening.
The Swede was directly involved in all three goals as Arsenal eased to a 3-0 win over Fulham, scoring twice in a routine home triumph.
