The Netherlands face a tough start to the 2026 World Cup when they face Japan at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday, before fellow Group F sides Sweden and Tunisia meet in the early hours of Monday.
Here we pick out the best bets for the first round of games in Group F.
Best Bets:
Both teams to score - Sweden vs Tunisia @ 49/50
Netherlands vs Japan (Sunday, 9pm)
Group F at this summer's World Cup is one of the very few groups with multiple teams that have a legitimate chance of finishing first.
The Netherlands and Japan will both feel they are good enough to sit at the top of the pile by the end of the month.
Oranje are unbeaten in 16 World Cup group games, dating back to 1994, and if they avoid defeat against Japan, they will have every faith they can kick on.
However, Ronald Koeman's team just did enough to beat Poland in qualifying to top spot in Group G, and they were held to a draw by Ecuador and beaten by Algeria in recent friendlies.
Japan have won six games in a row in a seven-match unbeaten streak and are likely to be a tough nut to crack.
The Samurai Blue have recently beaten Iceland, Scotland, England, Bolivia, Ghana and Brazil, keeping clean sheets against all but the Selecao and they should be able to frustrate the Netherlands and earn a share of the spoils.
Score prediction: Netherlands 1-1 Japan

Sweden vs Tunisia (Monday, 3am)
Sweden finished without a win and bottom of their qualifying group, but their achievements in the Nations League spared them and they did enough to beat Poland in the play-offs to book their spot this summer.
Former Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter will now hope to improve matters after stepping into the dugout for that play-off, and his side has played an attacking brand of football under his guidance.
Although they have netted in their last six games, Sweden have also conceded in 11 consecutive matches.
Tunisia breezed through qualifying, but have won just once in seven games in all competitions. They are without a goal in three, and have conceded in seven of their previous nine.
However, on neutral ground and against a poor defence, Tunisia should be able to find a way past Potter's men in what should be an entertaining affair in Mexico.
Score prediction: Sweden 2-1 Tunisia
