A new week at World Cup 2026 begins with three group games from Vancouver, Arlington and Philadelphia on Monday, 22 June, and we’ve got another set of bet builder bets to accompany the action.

First up, from Group G at BC Place, New Zealand and Egypt go head-to-head with kick-off there scheduled for 02:00 UK time. After that, Argentina will be aiming to seal qualification for the knockout phase with a win over Austria (18:00) in Group J, before France do the same when they meet Iraq in the day’s late fixture (22:00).

As per the usual routine, we’ve come up with a football bet builder using at least one selection from each of Monday’s three matches, which can be combined into a 5/1 treble using LiveScoreBet’s latest odds. New Zealand vs Egypt

Marwan Attia (Egypt) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Tireless midfielder Marwan Attia put in quite a shift for Egypt in their 1-1 draw with Belgium on matchday one, contesting nine duels and attempting three tackles during his all-action display at Lumen Field.

The 27-year-old also committed more fouls (3) than any other Egyptian player on the day and earned a yellow card after just 13 minutes following a cynical early foul.

Attia is unlikely to take the edge off his aggressive approach when the Pharaohs chase three crucial points against New Zealand in Group G, and he offers value in the over 1.5 fouls market again as a result.

The Al-Ahly anchorman is a reliable foul-market performer. He gave away five fouls in five games while repressing Egypt at AFCON earlier this year, while he also averaged a meaty 4.50 fouls per game when turning out for his club at the FIFA Club World Cup last summer. Attia is combative enough to clear a target of over 1.5 fouls with room to spare against New Zealand.

Recommended bet: Marwan Attia (Egypt) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Argentina vs Austria

Lionel Messi (Argentina) to have over 1.5 shots on target

Next, our bet builder tips today turn to the AT&T Stadium, where the evergreen Lionel Messi is backed to take centre stage for defending World Cup champions Argentina for the second game running.

Messi proved that his flame of genius is still burning bright at the age of 38 last week when he delivered a sensational match-winning hattrick against Algeria on what was his 200th appearance for his country.

That treble put Messi level with Miroslav Klose as the all-time joint top scorer at World Cups (16), and the veteran will be desperate to surpass the German with another goal against Austria.

Argentina’s attacking fulcrum has six shots in total against Algeria, four of which found the target and it wouldn’t be a shock if Messi matched that output here.

The Albiceleste talisman, who had been averaging 6.09 shots and 2.54 shots on target per 90 minutes for Inter Miami in the MLS before linking up with Argentina, is priced at 1.70 to have at least two shots on target against Austria, and is hard to pass by at those odds.

Recommended bet: Lionel Messi (Argentina) to have over 1.5 shots on target

France vs Iraq

Michael Olise (France) to have over 1.5 shots on target

France can take command of the Group I World Cup 2026 standings on Monday night with a victory over Iraq and winger Michael Olise is likely to be a key protagonist in any Les Bleus triumph.

Olise played a more creative role in France’s 3-1 win over Senegal last week and set up teammate Kylian Mbappe for the game’s deadlock breaker, though the 24-year-old still had time to let fly with two efforts himself, both of which found the target.

The Bayern Munich star, who's had 2+ shots on target in eight of last 17 competitive runouts for club and country, should have more opportunities to line up shots against a much-weaker Iraq outfit and Olise is fancied to clock over 1.5 shots on target for the second World Cup fixture running for France.

Iraq toiled against Norway in their opener and shipped four goals in a resounding defeat. Their struggles against the Scandinavians suggested they will be ill-equipped to cope with France’s class, so expect Les Blues’ forwards to flourish, including Olise.

Recommended bet: Michael Olise (France) to have over 1.5 shots on target
