Saturday, 20 June delivers another quartet of eye-catching fixtures from the World Cup 2026 as the competition’s group stage standings begin to take shape.

First up, Brazil are favourites to claim their first victory of the tournament when they meet Haiti in Group C, with action kicking off at 01:30 UK time there. After the Canarinho are finished, Turkey and Paraguay meet in a crucial Group D encounter in Santa Clara (04:00).

An all-European tie between the Netherlands and Sweden from Group F at 18:00 is arguably the game of the day, though Germany’s Group E meeting with Ivory Coast (21:00) runs it close.

Below, we’ve picked out some football betting tips for Saturday’s four matches, which can be combined into a single bet builder bet, which can be backed at odds of 28/1 using the latest World Cup prices from LiveScoreBet.

Brazil vs Haiti

Roger Ibanez (Brazil) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Brazil toiled for large parts of their 1-1 draw with impressive Group C rivals Morocco last weekend and fullback Roger Ibanez was one of the many yellow-clad players to struggle.

The 27-year-old committed two fouls in his attempts to thwart the tricky Moroccan forwards and was booked for one of his mistimed challenges. Ibanez seemed to wilt under the pressure at MetLife Stadium, which suggests he could feel the squeeze again on matchday two.

Haiti are no pushovers and they made life very uncomfortable for Scotland at times, despite losing 1-0 in Foxborough. Indeed, the Haitians drew a notable 23 fouls from their Scottish antagonists, with left winger Ruben Providence suffering two of those.

The livewire Providence will fancy his chances of getting past a wobbly Ibanez, and the Al Ahli and Brazilian right back could tackle his way onto the referee’s radar again. With bet builder odds for this selection favourable, we recommend backing Ibanez to commit 2+ fouls for the second game running.

Recommended bet: Roger Ibanez (Brazil) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Turkey vs Paraguay

Arda Guler (Turkey) to have over 1.5 shots on target

Our bet builder tips today switch to Levi’s Stadium next, where talented schemer Arda Guler could take centre stage for Turkey in their Group D tussle with Paraguay.

The Crescent Stars racked up a massive 30 attempts in their shock 2-0 loss to Australia on matchday one, and Real Madrid’s Guler accounted for eight (26%) of those efforts himself, with three of those strikes testing Aussie keeper Patrick Beach.

Guler was frustrated by Beach’s heroic reflexes, however, he will be doubly determined to make a match-changing difference against a Paraguay side who were picked apart by the USA (1-4) last week.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder averaged 2.19 shots and 0.865 shots on target per 90 minutes in La Liga last term, so it’s clear he knows how to let fly with accuracy.

Turkey need some inspiration from their gifted youngster to gain a foothold in the Group D World Cup 2026 standings, so back Guler to beat a target of over 1.5 shots on target again.

Recommended bet: Arda Guler (Turkey) to have over 1.5 shots on target

Netherlands vs Sweden

Alexander Isak (Sweden) to have over 0.5 shots on target

Back fit and firing, Alexander Isak reminded everyone just how formidable he can be with a scintillating display in Sweden’s thumping 5-1 win over Tunisia, and bettors are advised to take advantage of the striker’s growing confidence in the bet builder bets market on Saturday.

Isak scored once and assisted twice in Sweden’s emphatic win, clocking three shots overall, two of which were on target. That showing followed on from another strong performance against Norway in a World Cup warm-up match, which featured another goal from the improving frontman.

The 26-year-old’s maiden campaign with Liverpool was injury-stricken, though his lack of action at club level last season means he’s fresher than most for the World Cup and Sweden are already reaping the benefits.

Against a Netherlands defence that can be vulnerable against pace, Isak could have space to exploit and he offers real value as a prospect in the over 0.5 shots on target range.

Recommended bet: Alexander Isak (Sweden) to have over 0.5 shots on target

Germany vs Ivory Coast

Yan Diomande (Ivory Coast) to have over 0.5 shots on target

Next on our list of betting predictions from Saturday’s World Cup programme is an entry from Germany’s Group E fixture against Ivory Coast at BMO Field in Toronto.

Liverpool transfer target Yan Diomande is the protagonist here and though he wasn’t accurate with either of his two shots against Ecuador on matchday one, we’re tipping him to find his range against the Germans.

Our optimism here, is fuelled by the involvement of German defender Nathanial Brown. The left back endured a torrid time against Diomande last season, while turning out for former club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Brown came up against Diomande twice and the Ivorian scored four times across those encounters, including a hattrick in one sitting in a game where a dejected Brown was subbed off after 69 minutes.

RB Leipzig winger Diomande registered seven attempts across those 180 minutes and had far too much pace and trickery for a bamboozled Brown. Buoyed by all of that, Diomande will back himself to have his German marker on toast again, and a single shot on target for the 19-year-old should be within reach.

Recommended bet: Yan Diomande (Ivory Coast) to have over 0.5 shots on target
