The group stage of World Cup 2026 has reached a pivotal juncture and on Wednesday, 24 June, there is another busy first-phase schedule to plough through, with six matches from four different sections on the cards.

At the stroke of midnight (UK time), Panama and Croatia kick things off in Group L, before Colombia and DR Congo meet in Group K (3:00). Action resumes in the evening with two encounters from Group B, Switzerland vs Canada and Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar, both of which kick off at 20:00.

A little later, Morocco take on Haiti and Scotland meet Brazil, with both games scheduled to start at 23:00 in what should be a dramatic final flourish on matchday three in Group C.

Below, we’ve published our best bet builder tips for Wednesday’s World Cup fixtures, which can be backed at a combined 16/1 using the latest prices at LiveScoreBet. For more free bets and World Cup 2026 predictions and betting tips, check out our dedicated hub.

Panama vs Croatia

Carlos Harvey (Panama) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Panama midfielder Harvey was right at the heart of the skirmish against Ghana last week and contested a game-high 17 duels in his all-action throwdown at BMO Field in Toronto.

The tireless worker was also collared for five fouls against the Black Stars, a tally that made him the worst offender on the pitch and Harvey is unlikely to play with any less zeal when he lines up against Croatia.

The Minnesota United anchorman will be tasked with disrupting the passing rhythms of a technically gifted Croatian midfield, and in that kind of scenario, Harvey should be able to clear a target of over 1.5 fouls with room to spare.

Recommended bet: Carlos Harvey (Panama) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Colombia vs DR Congo

Edo Kayembe (DR Congo) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Sticking with the foul markets for the next part of our bet builder feature, we recommend backing DR Congo’s Edo Kayembe to give away 2+ free kicks against Colombia at the Estadio Akron.

Kayembe, who fouled at a rate of 1.30 times per outing at AFCON earlier this year, formed part of a robust Congolese unit against a frustrated Portugal last week and alongside performing well for his individual defensive metrics, the 28-year-old also gave away two fouls.

His heavy-handedness wouldn’t have surprised avid followers of The Championship in England, however. Kayembe gave away fouls in 19 different outings in that division for Watford last term, so he should be more than capable of fouling twice while battling against some aggressive Colombian counterparts in midfield.

Recommended bet: Edo Kayembe (DR Congo) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Switzerland vs Canada

Dan Ndoye (Switzerland) to have over 0.5 shots on target

We’ve already had plenty of success while backing Dan Ndoye in this market in some of our earlier World Cup bet builder bets, so we’re banking on the Swiss winger in the same niche against Canada.

Ndoye had six shots and two attempts on target in his first World Cup outing against Qatar and the 25-year-old followed that up with a similar output against Bosnia & Herzegovina, registering four efforts at goal, two of which were accurate.

That means the Forest attacker has now lodged at least one shot on target in nine of his last 11 runouts for Switzerland and Ndoye, who is still overpriced in the same market, represents plenty of value to find his range again when he faces Canada.

Recommended bet: Dan Ndoye (Switzerland) to have over 0.5 shots on target

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar

Over 4.5 Bosnia & Herzegovina corners

Bosnia & Herzegovina failed to win either of their first two World Cup 2026 fixtures, though Wednesday’s game against Qatar represents their best opportunity to get off the mark, and we expect them to perform accordingly.

This opposing Qatari outfit are one of the weakest teams in the tournament. They’ve been averaging just 26.5% possession per game so far, which is the second-lowest figure at the World Cup behind DR Congo.

Qatar were at a massive territorial disadvantage in each of their first two matches and conceded buckets of corners as a result. They conceded 10 against Switzerland and a loftier 19 against Canada, and our football betting tips anticipate similar corner concession figures for Qatar this week.

You don’t have to stretch too far to find value here. Bosnia & Herzegovina won three and four corners in their first two group games against Canada and Switzerland respectively, despite seeing less than 40% possession in each contest. With a great share of the ball against Qatar, they should be able to surpass a target of over 4.5 corners with ease.

Recommended bet: Over 4.5 Bosnia & Herzegovina corners

Morocco vs Haiti

Martin Experience (Haiti) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Left-back Martin Experience committed two fouls in his first World Cup appearance against Scotland and followed that up by committing another three in Haiti’s 3-0 reverse to Brazil on matchday two, and his record so far makes him easy to back in the over 1.5 fouls range again in our bet builder tips today.

On Wednesday, the 27-year-old will be manning the flank where Morocco do much of their best work. Raiding fullback Achraf Hakimi and key creator Brahim Diaz work in tandem brilliantly down the right for the Atlas Lions, and that potent combo can torment Experience.

Hakimi and Diaz were fouled three and two times each by their Scottish markers and five and three times more when they played against Brazil. Their combinations are incredibly tough for defenders to combat and Experience could be the latest fullback to struggle.

Recommended bet: Martin Experience (Haiti) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Scotland vs Brazil

Matheus Cunha (Brazil) to have over 0.5 shots on target

Cunha was handed a start at centre forward against Haiti last week and he rewarded Carlo Ancelotti’s faith by scoring Brazil’s first two goals in a 3-0 triumph, the second of which was a fine left-footed finish into the roof of the net.

Buoyed by his impact and likely to retain his starting berth, Cunha should be primed to take aim again against Scotland and he stands out as an excellent candidate to clock over 0.5 shots on target as a result.

The 27-year-old should be purring with confidence following his brace against Haiti, though it wasn’t as though he was lacking self-belief to begin with.

Indeed, Cunha crossed the Atlantic in fine fettle this summer following an excellent maiden campaign with Man Utd, where he averaged 3.25 shots, 1.26 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League. The attacker needs to hit just one accurate shot to get this leg over the line.

Recommended bet: Matheus Cunha (Brazil) to have over 0.5 shots on target
