Ecuador vs Curacao

John Yeboah (Ecuador) to have 0.5 shots on target

Ecuador were uninspiring as an attacking force in their late loss to Ivory Coast (0-1) on matchday one, registering just a single shot on target across 90 minutes, however, winger John Yeboah looked as likely as any player in their ranks to register.

The 23-year-old had three efforts on goal in Ecuador’s defeat, which was more than any of his teammates at Lincoln Financial Field, and Yeboah should have more chances to find his range against a Curacao outfit that conceded seven goals and 12 shots on target to Germany.

Yeboah sparkled on the flank for Venezia last term, averaging 4.02 shots and 1.59 shots on target per 90 during the club’s successful promotion run in Italy’s Serie B. The attacker has the tools to be a real menace on the left against a Curacao outfit that was torn to shreds by the Germans.

Prices are favourable here and bet builder feature backs Yeboah to lodge at least one accurate attempt at the Arrowhead Stadium.

Recommended bet: John Yeboah (Ecuador) to have 0.5 shots on target

Tunisia vs Japan

Ali Abdi (Tunisia) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Tunisia endured a torrid time against a rampant Sweden on matchday one in Group F and while their entire backline struggled in that thumping 5-1 loss, Al Abdi looked particularly hapless.

The 32-year-old was run ragged in Guadalupe and alongside being dragged into 13 duels, the veteran wingback committed a game-high three fouls, while somehow avoiding a booking for his string of offences.

Abdi is also a serial fouler at club level. He committed 1.67 fouls per 90 minutes for Nice in Ligue 1 last term and 1.81 p/90 the campaign before that, player stats that highlight the defender’s foul-happy streak.

At AFCON earlier this year, Ali Abdi racked up eight fouls across four appearances, so bettors should expect him to be just as prolific in his attempts to track the members of an energetic and skilful Japanese frontline.

Recommended bet: Ali Abdi (Tunisia) to concede over 1.5 fouls

Spain vs Saudi Arabia

Spain to have over 19.5 shots

Our football bet builder lasers in on Spain’s Group H clash with Saudi Arabia at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium next, where La Roja are backed to motor past a target of over 19.5 shots.

Accuracy doesn’t count here and Spain just need to rack up 20 or more attempts to get this leg over the line. Luis de la Fuente’s side played a couple of gears too low in their disappointing 0-0 stalemate against Cape Verde last time out, though they still managed to register 27 shots, 13 of which were clocked by half time.

Saudi Arabia meanwhile, conceded exactly the same number of shots (27) in their smash-and-grab tie with Uruguay, and driven on by a need to make up ground in the Group H World Cup 2026 standings, Spain have the quality to rack up similar shot figures at their expense here.

The Spaniards averaged 23.3 shots per game across their World Cup qualification campaign before letting fly 27 times against Cape Verde, and with bet builder odds offering value, they are worth taking to clear over 19.5 shots again.

Recommended bet: Spain to have over 19.5 shots

Belgium vs Iran

Youri Tielemans (Belgium) to have over 1.5 shots

Belgian players are likely to dominate shot market selections for the Red Devils’ encounter with Iran, however, away from the favourites in that domain, like Kevin De Bruyne and Leandro Trossard, Youri Tielemans could actually be one of the best bet builder tips in the niche.

Tielemans, who averaged a notable 3.05 shots per 90 minutes during Belgium’s World Cup qualifiers, had two attempts against Egypt in Monday’s Group G opener, and the Aston Villa man is more than capable of matching that output here.

Iran are likely to sit deep and wait for counter-attacking opportunities in Inglewood and Belgium might be forced to shoot from middle to longer distances to crack the low block. Indeed, Iran conceded four shots from outside the box in their draw with New Zealand.

These are the areas where Tielemans tends to excel and the 29-year-old, who is an accomplished shooter from range off either foot, is fancied to have over 1.5 shots for his second World Cup appearance running.

Recommended bet: Youri Tielemans (Belgium) to have over 1.5 shots

Uruguay vs Cape Verde

Over 5.5 Uruguay shots on target

Uruguay could only extract a point from the first of their World Cup 2026 fixtures against Saudi Arabia (1-1), though they did muster a noteworthy 27 shots and 10 attempts on target in that draw.

Despite not making the most of their opportunities, the Uruguayans had little trouble manufacturing chances against the Green Falcons, and they have the attacking talent to be similarly threatening on Sunday.

Their opponents, Cape Verde, marked their World Cup debut with a superb draw with Spain, though they did concede 27 shots against La Roja, seven of which were on target, which suggests their backline has some brittleness. Look for Uruguay to have at least 5.5 shots on target against the same defence in Miami.

Recommended bet: Over 5.5 Uruguay shots on target
