Tuchel arrives at his first major tournament as England manager with a strong squad and a few calls to make. The clearest team news is Tino Livramento’s absence. The Newcastle full-back has been ruled out with a muscular injury and replaced by Trevoh Chalobah, who is unlikely to be involved.

That loss shifts England’s defensive balance. Reece James should start at right-back, with Nico O’Reilly in line for a World Cup debut on the left. John Stones looks likely to anchor defence, while Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi compete to partner him. Konsa may appeal if Tuchel wants extra strength.

Bellingham Over Rogers
