Germany have not been that impressive at the back in recent months and, with Nagelsmann expected to name a weakened side, it looks even more likely that Ecuador hit the back of the net.
However, Germany's strength in depth is far greater than Ecuador's first team, and that means some of their fringe players should be able to make an impression.
One man who has already caught the eye is Deniz Undav. The Stuttgart ace has scored three goals and registered two assists in just 58 minutes of action.
