The Serie A Title Race
As we head into the final months of the 2025/26 Serie A season, the title race is a tense affair between city rivals. With star striker Lautaro Martinez in lethal form, Simone Inzaghi is pushing his Inter side to reclaim the Scudetto they last won in 2023/24. Hot on their heels are AC Milan, who are desperate to bring the title back to their side of the city for the first time since 2021/22 under the guidance of Paulo Fonseca. And you can never count out Juventus, where the tactical revolution led by Thiago Motta has them firmly in the hunt to end their own wait for the trophy.
The Race for Europe
The battle for the final Champions League spots is just as fierce. While AS Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini's famously intense Atalanta look like favorites, the fairytale story of the season is undoubtedly Como 1907. The vision of player-turned-manager Cesc Fàbregas has the newly-promoted side dreaming of a historic first-ever European qualification. However, the established might of Antonio Conte's Napoli and a resurgent Lazio are right on their heels.
Just below the top pack, ambitious sides like Fiorentina and Bologna are still in with a shout for a European place, promising a dramatic finish to the season. Meanwhile, a key objective for Parma will be to solidify their top-flight status with a strong finish.
The Relegation Battle
Further down the table, the relegation battle saw Cremonese's fate almost sealed, confirming a likely drop to Serie B after a difficult season. The fight for survival also sees Hellas Verona clinging onto life in Serie A, while Lecce, Cagliari, and Genoa also hover dangerously near the bottom three, with every point in these final weeks being vital.
