Como Set €80m Price Tag on Martin Baturina Amid Premier League and Bayern Munich Interest

Como have slapped a hefty price tag on in-demand creative star Martin Baturina in order to ward off interest from abroad, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 23-year-old played a key role as the Serie A side secured a Champions League finish last season, scoring six times and providing three assists, and his performances in Northern Italy haven’t gone unnoticed.
The report from Di Marzio indicates that two unnamed Premier League sides have shown an interest with bidding set to start at around the €50m mark.
Como keen to keep Baturina
Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in Baturina recently, while Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping tabs on the Croat.
However, despite links with a summer exit, Como are not prepared to entertain offers for the Croatia international.
As such, it’s been reported that Como won’t entertain any offer below €80m for the creative star.
Italian side secured Champions League finish
Como exceeded expectations under head coach Cesc Fabregas last season as they secured a Champions League spot on the final day of the 2025-26 campaign.
A 4-1 win over Cremonese combined with AC Milan’s 2-1 home defeat to Cagliari saw Como sneak into fourth spot.
“Yes, the night after the Cremonese match, we celebrated with the whole team and the staff,” Fabregas said following Como’s Champions League finish.
“On Monday morning, we were already back to work, it's true, because it's the right thing to do. Now everyone will go on vacation, but there is something important for me to manage.
“We need to raise the level, the organisation, and many other things. It needs to be done right away.”
Baturina, who is part of the Croatia squad for the 2026 World Cup, isn’t the only Como star to have attracted watchful glances from afar, with Jacobo Ramon and Nico Paz among those to have caught the eye over the last 12 months.
