The agent of Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Eli Junior Kroupi has provided an update on the striker’s future amidst reports of a possible move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Kroupi enjoyed a superb breakout campaign for Bournemouth as he scored 13 league goals for the Cherries.
And the 20-year-old’s performances on the south coast did not go unnoticed with a number of Premier League sides keeping tabs on the Frenchman.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old, while La Liga giants Barcelona are also monitoring his situation.
Tottenham looking to continue summer spending
Spurs are now hoping to beat their rivals to the signing of Cherries hitman as they aim to continue their summer splurge.
The north London giants have brought in Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke to strengthen at the back.
Martin Dubravka has joined as backup to Antonin Kinsky between the sticks, while Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali bolster the midfield.
Attention now turns to the attack, with Kroupi among the club’s top targets in a bid to improve their frontline.
'We'll see what happens'
Kroupi’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, has since delivered an update on the status of his client’s future.
Sissoko shut down claims regarding an agreement in place with either Spurs or Barcelona, but conceded that talks over Kroupi's next move will take place soon.
“We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens in the coming days; at the moment there is no final decision,” Sissoko told 365 Scores.
Bournemouth are understandably keen to retain Kroupi’s services and are believed to have slapped a £100m asking price on the former Lorient man.
Spurs are also looking to bolster in wide areas this summer with Rafael Leao, Savinho and Antonio Nusa, of AC Milan, Manchester City and RB Leipzig, respectively, all being watched by Roberto De Zerbi’s side.
