Manchester United are eyeing up a move for West Ham and Netherlands winger Crysencio Summerville, reports the Athletic.
Summerville is expected to leave the Hammers in the off season following their relegation to the Championship on the final day of the campaign.
The Dutchman has been linked with a summer exit with a host of Premier League sides believed to be keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.
Tottenham Hotspur have previously been credited with an interest in Summerville as the north London side look to strengthen out wide.
However, Spurs would face competition from United should they wish to follow up their interest in Summerville, who scored the Oranje’s second in their 2-2 2026 World Cup draw with Japan.
The winger endured a testing campaign for the Hammers having scored five times and provided two assists for the capital outfit.
Summerville move hinges on Rashford's future
Even so, his London Stadium displays haven’t deterred potential suitors, though teams keen on Summerville would need to fork up £50m in order to convince West Ham to sell.
A move for Summerville is also dependent on Marcus Rashford’s future in Manchester after Barcelona opted against triggering his €30m buy option following his season-long loan move to Spain.
Rashford, who is with the England squad ahead of their World Cup clash with Croatia, is now expected to return to the club next month.
Fernandes also a target for Man Utd
Summerville, meanwhile, isn’t the only West Ham player that United have been linked with as they continue to push to sign Mateus Fernandes.
The Portuguese midfielder is reportedly keen on an Old Trafford switch, however West Ham are remaining steadfast on their £85m valuation of the 21-year-old.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been tracking Fernandes, but United are believed to be leading the race for the former Sporting CP and Southampton man.
