Portsmouth began the season positively, losing one of their opening five Championship matches, but since the start of October the South Coast side have secured just two victories.

Portsmouth will have a few players missing for this vital clash.
Terry Devlin, Connor Ogilvie, Jacob Farrell, Harvey Blair, Franco Umeh, Thomas Waddington and Conor Shaughnessy will all be unavailable this weekend due to injury.
The visitors also have several players unavailable for the match, including Rob Atkinson, Max Bird and Harry Cornick, although all three should be back fit by mid-December.
Manager Gerhard Struber will have to make do without Joe Williams and Luke McNally until January at least.
Willams is carrying an ankle injury, while McNally is still recovering from an ACL injury.

The game is difficult to call from a results perspective, but with Pompey conceding seven in their previous three games and City shipping four goals in four games, it looks likely that both teams will score this Saturday.
Should City win, they could jump into the play-off spots, whereas Pompey could move further away from the drop zone by sealing all three points.
