Lincoln City vs Blackburn Rovers – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

Blackburn have lost only one of their last seven away games and that was at Southampton and they can bounce back from a pair of 2-1 home defeats to win at Lincoln. The Imps' only outing at Sincil Bank this season ended in a 3-1 loss to Portsmouth.

Score prediction: Lincoln City 1-2 Blackburn Rovers (7/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Portsmouth vs Derby County – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

Derby have only got one point to show from a perfectly acceptable opening trio of fixtures, so will not want to miss out again. Portsmouth have only won once themselves this term and cannot keep a clean sheet. Six of their last eight meetings have been draws.

Score prediction: Portsmouth 1-1 Derby County 1-0 (22/5 with LiveScore Bet)

Preston North End vs Bristol City – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

A poor end to last season – three wins in 15 – has seeped into this term for North End, who have lost four in a row. Bristol City look a decent side and maybe Saturday's 2-1 win over Portsmouth can inspire a run for Michael Skubala's side.

Score prediction: Preston North End 0-2 Bristol City (9/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Sheffield United vs Bolton Wanderers – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

Sheffield United have not ignited by any means, yet are unbeaten in five, so must be doing something right. That Bolton have failed to score in three of their four games surely plays to the Blades' strengths.

Score prediction: Sheffield United 1-0 Bolton Wanderers (21/4 with LiveScore Bet)

Swansea City vs Watford – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

Swansea have faced just four shots on target against three opponents but can expect that number to be upped by a Watford side averaging 14 shots per game. The Hornets have five points from a brutal start but the Swans can fend them off.

Score prediction: Swansea City 2-1 Watford (23/4 with LiveScore Bet)

West Ham vs Wolves – Tuesday September 1 (7.45pm)

Premier League outcasts West Ham and Wolves meet again in what ought to be a good game. Wolves have scored at least twice in five matches and there have been goals at both ends in all of the Hammers' matches.

Score prediction: West Ham 2-2 Wolves (17/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Birmingham City vs Southampton – Tuesday September 1 (8pm)

Birmingham bounced back from a 6-1 mauling by Brentford to win at Wrexham, but now comes another serious test. Southampton look Premier League-bound and after stunning Millwall 5-1 can deliver once more.

Score prediction: Birmingham City 1-4 Southampton (30/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Stoke City vs Norwich City – Tuesday September 1 (8pm)

Norwich's 4-1 win over Burnley could be a real trigger for the Canaries after a mixed start and expect them to follow up with a win at Stoke, who were crushed at Wolves at the weekend.

Score prediction: Stoke City 1-3 Norwich City (10/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Millwall vs Wrexham – Wednesday September 2 (7.45pm)

Millwall will not be the only team to be on the end of a hiding at Southampton this season, back at The Den expect them to make amends. Wrexham are the visitors and the Lions can put Phil Parkinson's strugglers in their place.

Score prediction: Millwall 1-0 Wrexham (11/2 with LiveScore Bet)

QPR vs Cardiff City – Wednesday September 2 (7.45pm)

It is two wins in 10 at home for QPR which should offer Cardiff hope. The Welshmen have been involved in a string of entertaining duels – five games all featuring goals at both ends – and this can add to that list.

Score prediction: Queens Park Rangers 1-1 Cardiff City (24/5 with LiveScore Bet)

West Brom vs Charlton Athletic – Wednesday September 2 (7.45pm)

Charlton only won four times on the road last term, but two were at Ipswich and Middlesbrough.

This season they have dotted up at West Ham, another big gun. The Baggies are going well but write off leaders Charlton at your peril.

Score prediction: West Bromwich 2-2 Charlton Athletic (19/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Burnley vs Middlesbrough – Wednesday September 2 (8pm)

Burnley, without a win since February, are genuinely in decline. Middlesbrough's only loss was in East Lancs at Blackburn, though it is a mystery how they lost that game 2-1 and these are two teams heading in different directions.

Score prediction: Burnley 0-2 Middlesbrough (17/2 with LiveScore Bet)
