Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto faces a midlands derby trip to Birmingham on Sunday
  • Preston, the only team without a point, play neighbours Blackburn

  • Leaders Swansea play Welsh rivals Wrexham on Saturday night

  • All four Wolves games have had over 3.5 goals

Three big derbies take centre stage in the fifth round of action in the EFL Championship.

Lancashire rivals Preston are looking for their first points against Blackburn, leaders Swansea take on Wrexham and then Sunday sees a huge Midlands clash between Birmingham and Wolves, their first meeting in eight years.

Lincoln City vs Southampton - Saturday September 5 (12.30pm)

Southampton head to Lincoln for the first time since 1961 in a league game and will know they are in for a battle. The Imps are averaging a division-high 21 tackles per game and the graft is paying off - though Saints' class should tell.

Score Prediction: Lincoln City 0-2 Southampton (13/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Preston North End vs Blackburn Rovers - Saturday September 5 (12.30pm)

It is five defeats in a row in all competitions for pointless North End, who have not won any of their last six against Rovers at Deepdale. Blackburn are without a win in three and this could be dour.

Score Prediction: Preston North End 0-0 Blackburn Rovers (15/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Stoke City vs Charlton Athletic - Saturday September 5 (12.30pm)

Stoke produced a backs-to-the-walls win over Norwich that will give Mark Robins' men a lift - but Charlton will be a tough obstacle. Good enough to win at West Ham and draw at West Brom, they can frustrate the Potters.

Score Prediction: Stoke City 1-1 Charlton Athletic (22/5 with LiveScore Bet)

Burnley vs Bristol City - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

The Robins have won two in a row so should fancy they can defy the odds at Turf Moor. Relegated Burnley are without a win so far with four draws in six in all competitions and more frustration is pending.

Score Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Bristol City (24/5 with LiveScore Bet)

Millwall vs Bolton Wanderers - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

Heavy back-to-back defeats at Southampton (5-1) and home to Wrexham (0-3) was very un-Millwall but they can right those wrongs. Bolton bust a gut going down 3-2 at Sheffield United and will at least put up a fight.

Score Prediction: Millwall 2-1 Bolton Wanderers (6/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Portsmouth vs Cardiff City - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

It is four defeats in five for Pompey and no clean sheets. Meanwhile, it is no wins in five for Cardiff and both teams have scored in all six of their games. This could be exciting.

Score Prediction: Portsmouth 3-2 Cardiff City (13/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Queens Park Rangers vs Middlesbrough - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

QPR have had more shots on target than any club in the Championship; Middlesbrough have had the most shots of any club. Two teams who like to attack can lay on a decent affair with the unbeaten Hoops fancied to prevail in a cracker at Loftus Road.

Score Prediction: QPR 3-2 Middlesbrough (16/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Sheffield United vs Norwich City - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

Without ever totally convincing, Sheffield United are still unbeaten despite having the fewest shots (34) of any side in the division. Norwich look inconsistent and had no luck in a 1-0 loss at Stoke. Take their luck to turn here.

Score Prediction: Sheffield United 1-2 Norwich City (13/2 with LiveScore Bet)

West Bromwich vs Watford - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

Four without a win means Hornets' boss Alessio Dionisi will be feeling it, given the board have a hire-and-fire reputation. The Baggies are unbeaten at home in nine, including a 3-0 win over Watford last season.

Score Prediction: West Bromwich 1-0 Watford (5/1 with LiveScore Bet)

West Ham United vs Derby County - Saturday September 5 (3pm)

West Ham's 4-2 win over Wolves has changed the mood at the London Stadium and they can go back to back. Derby's 2-0 win at Portsmouth on Tuesday was a first of term - and they may have to wait for a second.

Score Prediction: West Ham United 3-1 Derby County (15/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Swansea vs Wrexham - Saturday September 5 (8pm)

Wrexham's 3-0 win at Millwall this week - their first success this season - was a huge relief for the Dragons but now they have to unpick a Swansea side on a run of three straight clean sheets and that might be too much.

Score Prediction: Swansea 2-0 Wrexham (7/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Birmingham City vs Wolves - Sunday September 6 (12pm)

Birmingham's 1-1 draw with Southampton shows they can match the best - handy when next up are Wolves. The Old Gold are smarting after their loss at West Ham and this should be a tense and tight midlands derby.

Score Prediction: Birmingham City 1-1 Wolves (22/5 with LiveScore Bet)
