Stoke host leaders Coventry in a top-of-the-table showdown
Play-off hopefuls Millwall and Preston lock horns at The Den
Out-of-form duo Norwich and Leicester clash at Carrow Road
Coventry City continue to lead the charge at the top of the Championship table, but their promotion credentials face a stern test on Saturday as they head to second-placed Stoke City.
The Sky Blues have lost only one of their 14 matches and they hold a four-point cushion over the Potters, who are managed by former Coventry boss Mark Robins.
Third-placed Middlesbrough, five points off the summit, host big-spending Birmingham, while gameweek 15 gets started with a Friday night showdown from Vicarage Road with Watford entertaining Bristol City.
Watford vs Bristol City (Friday, 8pm)
Watford have won four straight Championship matches at Vicarage Road, three of which have ended 2-1 and they can put in a five-star performance against a Bristol City side who are reeling following back-to-back defeats to Stoke and Blackburn.
Score prediction: Watford 2-1 Bristol City
Blackburn vs Derby (Saturday, 12.30pm)
These are two in-form sides, with Blackburn having won three in a row and Derby seeking a fifth straight success. Therefore, this should be tight and Rovers may be able to edge to success with a third successive clean sheet.
Score prediction: Blackburn 1-0 Derby
Hull vs Portsmouth (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Hull's six-match unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Derby on Tuesday, but the Tigers have taken 11 points from their last five at home and they should punish a travel-sick Portsmouth side who are winless in five on the road.
Score prediction: Hull 2-1 Portsmouth
Millwall vs Preston (Saturday, 12.30pm)
It is fourth meets fifth in the Championship, but Millwall may be able to leapfrog Preston with a vital victory.
The Lions have won four of their last five league games at The Den, keeping clean sheets in each success.
Score prediction: Millwall 2-0 Preston
Middlesbrough vs Birmingham (Saturday, 3pm)
Back-to-back 4-0 wins at home to Portsmouth and Millwall have installed plenty of belief into Birmingham and they may be able to frustrate third-placed Middlesbrough, who are winless in three.
Score prediction: Middlesbrough 1-1 Birmingham
Norwich vs Leicester (Saturday, 3pm)
This contest features two under-fire managers, with Norwich third from bottom and winless in 10 and Leicester having won only one of their last 10.
The Foxes have shared the spoils in six of their 14 games and another stalemate may follow at Carrow Road.
Score prediction: Norwich 1-1 Leicester
Sheffield United vs QPR (Saturday, 3pm)
Sheffield United are having a horror season, having suffered five defeats in six home games to leave them sitting second bottom in the table.
QPR have won three of their last five on the road and may heap more misery on the Blades.
Score prediction: Sheffield United 1-2 QPR
Southampton vs Sheffield Wednesday (Saturday, 3pm)
Southampton snapped a three-game losing streak with Wednesday's 2-1 win at QPR and they should be able to follow up at home to crisis club Sheffield Wednesday, who have won only one of their opening 14 matches.
That said, the Saints have kept only one clean sheet in 10.
Score prediction: Southampton 3-1 Sheffield Wednesday
Stoke vs Coventry (Saturday, 3pm)
This top-of-the-table clash promises to live up to all expectations, with leaders Coventry fancied to come out on top.
The Sky Blues have racked up 39 goals in 14 games and their last two wins, against Sheffield United and Watford, have ended 3-1.
Score prediction: Stoke 1-3 Coventry
Swansea vs Ipswich (Saturday, 3pm)
Ipswich have not adapted as well as would have been expected in the Championship, but they have taken seven points from three league games and can enhance the good run at Swansea, who have lost three of their last four at home.
Score prediction: Swansea 1-2 Ipswich
West Brom vs Oxford (Saturday, 3pm)
West Brom have endured a four-game winless run, failing to score in three and they are not sure to have things all their own way against Oxford, who have picked up positive results in three of their last five on their travels.
Score prediction: West Brom 0-0 Oxford
Wrexham vs Charlton (Saturday, 3pm)
Charlton are in fine fettle, having lost only one of their last ten Championship clashes, but this represents a tough test at Wrexham.
The Red Dragons defeated league leaders Coventry in their last home game and can grind out victory over a dogged Addicks outfit.
Score prediction: Wrexham 1-0 Charlton
