Coventry are eight points clear at the top of the table
West Brom have lost four of their last five matches
Oxford out of the bottom three thanks to a 2-1 win over Southampton
The busy Christmas period continues with 12 more matches from the Championship on Monday evening and all eyes will be on leaders Coventry as they lock horns with third-placed Ipswich.
Second-placed Middlesbrough host Hull, who are just two places below them, hoping to capitalise if the Sky Blues falter.
Coventry vs Ipswich (Monday, 6pm)
Coventry appear to be storming to the Championship title after a great first half of the season and they should be confident of taking care of third-placed Ipswich having won their last eight matches at the CBS Arena.
The Tractor Boys are winless in four road trips and may struggle to make their mark.
Score prediction: Coventry 2-0 Ipswich
Leicester vs Derby (Monday, 7.45pm)
This East Midlands derby promises to deliver. There have been three or more goals in each of Leicester's last nine Championship matches, while over 2.5 goals have landed in seven of Derby's 11 league away games this season.
However, the Foxes may just edge it.
Score prediction: Leicester 2-1 Derby
Middlesbrough vs Hull (Monday, 7.45pm)
Middlesbrough need to keep up the pace with leaders Coventry, but they have fired blanks in their last two games against Bristol City and Blackburn to raise concerns.
Hull have taken 10 points from their last four matches to move up to fourth and are capable of playing the part of the spoiler at the Riverside.
Score prediction: Middlesbrough 1-1 Hull
Millwall vs Bristol City (Monday, 7.45pm)
Having posted wins over Middlesbrough and West Brom in their last two Championship outings, Bristol City should be brimming with belief ahead of a trip to The Den.
Millwall are without a win in four, failing to score in their last two and a host of injuries are seriously hampering them.
Score prediction: Millwall 0-1 Bristol City
Norwich vs Watford (Monday, 7.45pm)
Although still second from bottom, Norwich are finding some form under Philippe Clement and they have won three on the spin at Carrow Road.
Watford are unbeaten in five and have some excellent attacking options, but a high-scoring draw may be the best they can hope for.
Score prediction: Norwich 2-2 Watford
Oxford vs Swansea (Monday, 7.45pm)
Fourth-bottom Oxford began life without manager Gary Rowett by recording a 2-1 victory at home to an in-form Southampton and they could follow up with a similar success over struggling Swansea, who have lost their last five on the road.
Score prediction: Oxford 2-1 Swansea
Portsmouth vs Charlton (Monday, 7.45pm)
Portsmouth are digging deep in their bid to avoid relegation after building on a win over Blackburn with draws against Derby and QPR.
It is difficult to say the same for Charlton, who have been poor on the road of late with only one point from their last five away games.
Score prediction: Portsmouth 1-0 Charlton
Sheff Wed vs Blackburn (Monday, 7.45pm)
Blackburn have lost just one of their last six Championship matches and they should be able to see off rock-bottom Sheff Wed.
The Owls have not won since September 20th and that run looks set to continue as Rovers have won three of their last six road trips.
Score prediction: Sheff Wed 1-2 Blackburn
Stoke vs Sheff Utd (Monday, 7.45pm)
Sheff Utd have lost their last two away league games, the latest of which was a 5-3 beating at Wrexham on Boxing Day, so Stoke may be able to utilise home advantage.
The Potters have lost just three times in 11 outings on their own patch, winning six.
Score prediction: Stoke 2-1 Sheff Utd
West Brom vs QPR (Monday, 7.45pm)
West Brom continue to flatter to deceive and, having lost four of their last five matches, could mean QPR hold the aces.
The playoff-seeking Londoners have won five of their last eight and can showcase their attacking ability.
Score prediction: West Brom 1-3 QPR
Wrexham vs Preston (Monday, 7.45pm)
Wrexham came from 3-1 down to stun Sheff Utd in a 5-3 victory on Boxing Day, but Preston have lost just four of their 23 league games and may be more disciplined defensively.
The Lilywhites have played out six draws in nine outings and should settle for a share of the spoils.
Score prediction: Wrexham 1-1 Preston
Birmingham vs Southampton (Monday, 8.15pm)
Birmingham dominated Boxing Day's 1-1 draw with Derby without being able to get over the line and they could build on against Southampton, who have suffered three away defeats in a row, at Millwall, Norwich and Oxford.
The Blues tend to thrive at St. Andrew's and can do so again.
Score prediction: Birmingham 2-1 Southampton
