Queensland have prevailed over South Australia in a high scoring affair at Adelaide Oval. Webb looked to be carrying the home side to an improbable victory, featuring in big partnerships with de Broughe and Armitage. She scored an impressive century to become the leading run scorer in the current WNCL season. However, her wicket triggered a collapse for the home team. Hancock and Jonassen were the best bowlers for the visitors, and it was their bowling in tandem that wrestled back the momentum from the Webb innings. The win was would not have been possible without Player of the Match Redmayne, who scored a brilliant unbeaten century in the first innings.
