8. Complete your profile details, make a deposit and place your first bet.

GSB allows only one account per person, and you must be physically in Uganda to bet. The company can ask for ID or other documents at any time, so register with your real details.

How Does the GSB Betting Login Work?

You log in to GSB by tapping Login on gsb.ug or in the app and entering your registered phone number and password.

If you forget your password, tap Forgot Password? and enter your registered phone number. GSB sends a five-digit code to set a new one. To change a password you know, go to My Profile, then Edit Profile and Change Password.

Your User ID sits at the top of My Profile, and you need it for USSD and shop deposits. If you think someone else has your login details, call GSB on 0800 334 455 straight away, because the terms make you responsible for all activity on your account.

How Do Deposits and Withdrawals Work at GSB Uganda?

GSB Uganda handles deposits and withdrawals in UGX through MTN Mobile Money (MoMo), Airtel Money, USSD and Shop Cash at its retail shops. Withdrawals go only to the phone number you registered with.

To deposit online with MoMo or Airtel Money, follow these steps:

1. Log in and open the Deposit page.

2. Choose MTN or Airtel and enter the amount.

3. Tap Deposit and confirm with your mobile money PIN when prompted.

Without mobile data, USSD betting also works. Dial *165# on MTN or *185# on Airtel, choose Gal Sport Betting in the betting payments menu, and enter your GSB account ID and the amount. Then type the deposit code you receive by SMS into the USSD section of the Deposit page.

At a GSB shop, give the cashier your Customer ID and pay in cash. You then enter the transfer code from your receipt under Shop Cash on the Deposit page.

To withdraw, go to My Profile, tap Withdraw, choose MTN or Airtel Money, enter the amount and confirm. MTN users can also withdraw by USSD with a five-digit code from the Withdraw page, and Shop Cash withdrawals are collected at a GSB shop with a withdrawal code.

GSB's terms say it processes withdrawals within 72 hours of confirming the funds are available, and ID checks can add time. Any tax due on winnings is withheld and paid to the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

Accounts with no deposit or bet for 90 days can be treated as dormant, and the terms allow GSB to keep the remaining balance. Withdraw any funds you no longer plan to use.
