Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Kaoru Mitoma as they prepare for a summer clearout under Erik ten Hag. Mitoma, 25, only made his full debut for Brighton in August but is flourishing under Roberto De Zerbi on the South Coast. The Japanese international signed for the Seagulls for just £2.7million in 2021 and spent a year out on loan before returning to the Premier League outfit. And The Sun report that United may move for Mitoma as part of a major reshuffle at the end of the campaign. Anthony Elanga and Anthony Martial are named as those on the chopping block. Ten Hag is coming to the end of his first full season in charge of the Red Devils and is likely to put his stamp on the squad in his second summer transfer window. Mitoma has netted six times and added three assists in the top flight this season and has helped guide Brighton to the FA Cup semi-finals. The Seagulls will meet United at Wembley for a place in the final and Ten Hag will be hoping that his players can nullify the winger's pace and impressive dribbling. His contract is set to expire in 2025 which may make a deal more likely in the summer despite Brighton's notoriously brutal negotiation tactics. Champions League hopefuls Newcastle are keen on signing Scott McTominay from United this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The Daily Mail suggest that Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham have all registered their interest in RB Salzburg striker Noah Okafor. According to ESPN, Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira is attracting interest from Chelsea, who are looking to replace Mason Mount in the summer.
