Mohamed Salah has reportedly told Liverpool he wishes to leave Anfield to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Transfer guru Rudy Galetti claims a bid of around £80million has been tabled for the Egyptian forward along with a bumper salary offer.

The Reds are reluctant to let their star attacker leave but must now decide whether to cash in their prized asset.

Salah, 31, has two years remaining on his contract with the Premier League giants having agreed fresh terms last summer.

He has scored 187 goals in 307 games since arriving on Merseyside from Roma in 2017.

Ahead of this afternoon's clash with Newcastle, boss Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports: "There's a lot going on around us but that's it.

"There's speculation and I think that's completely normal at this moment in time.

"Mo is a super experienced player and 100% committed to us here, to the club."
