Tottenham in pole position for Andy Robertson but have two rivals in pursuit

While Tottenham are the club in the lead for departing Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson, TEAMtalk reports there are two other clubs in pursuit.
Spurs wanted to land Robertson from Anfield in the January window. However, with just six months left on his deal at that point, the Scot remained at the club with whom he'll go down a legend.
He has since announced that he'll be departing Liverpool once that deal is up, and it's believed Tottenham are indeed the leading name to land him.
Insider Fabrizio Romano stated there is a verbal agreement in place between the two parties.
Further to that, TEAMtalk have stated that Tottenham had an understanding with Robertson when they made the move for him in January, and that's been reaffirmed since his departure decision, and the arrival in north London of manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Indeed, Spurs have stepped up their plans to land the left-back, with the new boss keen to add someone of his experience to the side.
However, they are not the only club in pursuit of Robertson, and there are another pair going after him who could appeal to the left-back.
Two more clubs want Robertson
Scottish giants Celtic reportedly want to take the Liverpool man back to his home country for the first time since he left Dundee for Hull in 2014.
As a man with 92 Scottish national team appearances, there's certainly a world in which a move back there appeals to Robertson.
Elsewhere, Hull, where the left-back spent three years, from 2014-2017, are believed to be monitoring Robertson's situation closely.
It's reported they've made it known internally that if they're to return to the Premier League next season, they'd put an offer on the table for Robertson.
The Tigers currently occupy the final playoff spot in the Championship, and have a four-point buffer on seventh-placed Wrexham, suggesting there's a good chance they get to play for a return to the top flight come the end of the season.
In any case, Robertson's camp are believed to have reiterated that their agreement with Spurs remains in place.
Even if the north London club drop down to the Championship - which is now a legitimate possibility given they're two points from safety in the final relegation place, with six to play - Robertson will still consider the move there.
