Teun Koopmeiners 'dreams' of a move to Liverpool and a fee of just €30million would be enough for the Reds to land him, reports TuttoSport.

Koopmeiners has been mentioned in the same sentences as Liverpool in the past. However, the Dutchman moved to Juventus a couple of years ago, and after three goals and three assists in his first season for them in Serie A, any chance of moving on again appeared to have gone.

But TuttoSport now reports he 'can leave' and Juventus have already set their price of just €30million (£26.1m).

Koopmeiners is said not to have delivered under Luciano Spalletti, with no goals or assists in 32 Serie A games this season.

As a result of Juventus' acceptance that the midfielder can leave, his entourage have reportedly been in talks with several Premier League clubs.

It's said to be no secret that Liverpool are attracted to Koopmeiners, who they wanted to sign two summers ago, but the report suggests it's 'difficult to see' whether that opportunity will reopen, despite the fact he's said to 'dream' of an Anfield move.

Indeed, the Reds have themselves had a below standard season, failing miserably in their attempts to retain last season's Premier League title - which can now only be won by Arsenal or Manchester City - and the Reds can't finish any higher than fifth.

They'll want to rebuild in the summer and a player who has no goals or assists this season will not be top of their agenda.

With that said, it's believed the Premier League could be 'fertile ground' for Koopmeiners, though it's not reported which other English clubs want to sign him.

More sides want Koopmeiners

There are other named clubs in the pursuit of Koopmeiners, though. In Italy, Roma are said to be interested, while there are believed to be Turkish sides in the mix for the midfielder.

Should Koopmeiners head to Roma, he'd continue in Serie A, a league he's not left for the last five years after joining Atalanta from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar, before he headed to Juventus after three years there.

But that there are English clubs interested in him presents a good opportunity to try out a new league and perhaps convince a big club to take a chance on him, should he impress early on.
