Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall is being linked with a high-profile summer switch to rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, according to CaughtOffside.

Spurs consider the Swede unsellable, but their hand may be forced should they succumb to relegation.

Spurs winless run continued on Saturday

The north London side remain mired in the bottom three following Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Brighton.

Spurs went ahead through Pedro Porro, but conceded an equaliser to Kaoru Mitoma in first half injury time.

Xavi Simons, who’d provided his fifth assist of the season for Porro's opener, then fired Roberto De Zerbi’s side back in front in the 77th minute.

And just as Spurs thought they’d ended their winless streak, French forward Georginio Rutter drew the Seagulls level for the second time with the two teams forced to share the spoils.

Club desperate to keen Bergvall

Bergvall was key in Spurs’ second and the club are desperate to retain the midfielder’s services.

They fended off interest from Chelsea and Aston Villa in the January window, but those keen on Bergvall will return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium should Spurs fail to consolidate their Premier League spot.

Arsenal are backed to join the race for the 20-year-old, who has made just 20 league appearances this season due to injury.

Swede valued at £50m

Spurs are reluctant to do business with their London rivals for the talented Sweden international and would demand upwards of £50m if they are to sell Bergvall.

Barcelona are also believed to be monitoring Bergvall’s situation in north London having missed out on his services when he first moved to Spurs.

All three interested parties are expected to add to their respective midfields when the transfer window opens.

Interested parties set to strengthen in midfield

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Ederson, while Chelsea are wary that they may lose Enzo Fernandez to Real Madrid this summer.

Barcelona, too, feel they missed an opportunity to land one of the hottest midfield talents in Europe when they failed to pip Spurs to Bergvall.

Spurs may have edged towards safety with a point on Saturday but have now played a game more than both Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

The Tricky Trees face doomed Burnley on Sunday afternoon, while the Hammers are in action against Crystal Palace on Monday night as the two teams look to pull further away from danger.
