Premier League kits 2022-23: Every new home, away and third strip

With the 2022-23 Premier League campaign up and running, clubs are proudly sporting their new shirts.

Arsenal and adidas have revealed a collared design for this season's home jersey, which takes inspiration from classic Gunners shirts of the 90s.

As part of the 'Arsenal Supporting Supporters' campaign, which aims to boost local business, £5 from each shirt sold through the club's official store will go to the Arsenal Foundation.

The away jersey combines a bronze cannon badge and bronze metallic trims with shades of black and carbon that showcase an AFC all over graphic inspired by the Arsenal lettering fans pass on their way to the Emirates Stadium on matchdays.

The Gunners will be pretty in pink when sporting their third kit, with a navy blue collar and shorts completing the vibrant design.

The shirt had its first run-out when Arsenal won 2-0 at Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener.

Aston Villa’s 2022-23 home kit includes subtle chevrons within the fabric which aim to represent the impressive honours won throughout the club’s prestigious history.

The Castore design includes ergonomic panelling and the classic claret and blue colour palette which draws inspiration from the "sophisticated and understated style" of the club.

And the Villans have gone for a classic blue with claret details for their second strip.

They will wear a black shirt with electrifying yellow features during some away games this season.

Bournemouth will wear their traditional red and black striped kit as they return to the Premier League.

The jagged stripes on the Umbro design are said to be "inspired by the architectural stadium pillars" and it also has nods back to Cherries kits of the 90s.

Bournemouth will wear a lilac away kit and to mark their location on the South Coast, there are palm trees on the front of the shirt.

Their third kit is inspired by the 'Everyone Together' campaign which looks to promote understanding and tackle injustice.

The predominantly black and white colours aim to signify that equality and inclusion is at the heart of what they do.

In a move that bucks the trend of recent years, Brentford will not be changing their home strip this season.

The Bees want to avoid the need for fans to shell out on a new shirt every season, so the Umbro-designed jersey they wore during their first Premier League campaign will be the same for this term.

But Brentford fans still have a release to get excited about after the club unveiled a light blue away strip featuring a castle crest.

The all-black third kit design includes a bright digital front graphic panel and solid black back. It also features ribbed cuffs and collar, signed off on the inside with ‘Bee Together’ — the club's message of inclusivity — and a Bee symbol printed on the neck.

Brighton turned to celebrity superfan Fatboy Slim to unveil their new home strip in their famous stripes.

The Seagulls will don a striking away shirt for the 2022-23 season, with a crimson colour and black stripes.

They will hope for another successful away campaign after picking up most of their points on the road last season.

Graham Potter's men have carried over their away attire from last season to use as their third kit in the 2022-23 campaign.

Chelsea's home kit for the 2022-23 season is blue as ever, albeit with a striking white collar at the top.

The lion detailing pays tribute to Francis Drake, who changed the badge and nickname of the club, before guiding them to their first league title in the 50s.

The away kit will be predominantly white, with light blue horizontal stripes accompanied by white detailing.

Crystal Palace's new home shirt features the classic red and blue stripes in a modern graffiti-style design accompanied by a white trim around the collar and sleeves.

Their white away strip has a similar eye-catching pattern in red and blue down the centre of the shirt.

Accompanied with white shorts, chairman Steve Parish hopes it will prove another popular design with the Eagles faithful.

Parish said: “Our white away kits have always been hugely popular, and this iteration is sure to be well received by our supporters.

"This striking design gives a modern twist to our traditional white away kits with red and blue trim, and incorporates our remarkable history with our 1861 crest."

The South Londoners' new black third strip with a red and blue sash is a fresh interpretation of the 2013-14 away kit worn in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa, and follows a consistent pattern with the 2022-23 home and away designs.

Hummel have revealed their latest edition of Everton's kit for the new campaign.

The shirt pays homage to Prince Rupert's Tower, with flashes of the club's iconic landmark repeated in a pattern across the whole jersey.

The away shirt is an eye-catching rosebloom pink, featuring a distinctive, patriot blue pattern inspired by the angled roof of the tower in the club crest, amplified into a geometric print.

The Toffees' striking yellow and blue third kit also features the tower icon in place of the full club crest, with the tower outline also reflected in a pattern that runs across the bottom section of the shirt and takes its inspiration from a feature of the popular yellow kit worn by the Merseysiders between 1990 and 1992.

Midfielder Alex Iwobi, who modelled the new third kit, said: "I'm looking forward to wearing it out on the pitch this season.

"I think the kit is cool. It's bright, it's bold, but it's stylish and it's more than just a football shirt — it looks good with jeans and shorts too. It's casual. "

Fulham's classic white home shirt features a special adidas design on the sleeve cuffs and collar which aims to represent the ebb and flow of the River Thames.

The away strip is a bold pulse mint, featuring a detailed modern interpretation of the Craven Cottage brickwork across the front of the body.

Leeds' 2022-23 home shirt is intended to be a celebration of the club and its loyal supporters.

The adidas design uses a high-performance recycled material and has the iconic LUFC script printed to recognise the 50th anniversary of the 1972 FA Cup winning side.

Leeds' away kit is slightly more ambitious than their usual white home strip.

The yellow and blue tie dye shirt takes its colours from their club crest.

The Leeds third kit has a sleek and modern design with the jersey featuring a black and carbon stripe with a flash of crew orange for the adidas three stripes across the shoulders.

Black shorts and orange socks complete the look, as the Peacocks enter their new era.

Leicester are another club who have celebrated memorable days gone by with their latest kit release.

Working alongside adidas, the club's 'Create Iconic' campaign sees the return of a pronounced white collar synonymous with their 70s kits, while the dynamic fox design is a nod to shirts worn by the likes of Gary Lineker and Alan Smith in the 80s.

The Foxes have gone back to black for their away kit, with the design also featuring a contemporary flat knit collar with a chequerboard effect.

Their third kit has maroon highlights to serve as a subtle link to the Foxes' FA Cup win in 2021.

Liverpool were the first Premier League club to unveil their home shirt for the new campaign.

Nike’s simple but bold red design is said to be inspired by "Scouse solidarity", with its no-nonsense design intended to reflect the mentality of the people of Liverpool.

The Reds' multicoloured away kit is inspired by the city's vibrant musical history and its particular role in the rise of the 90s dance scene.

The Reds have also revealed their dark green third kit, which is complete with a red trim.

Manchester City's 2022-23 home shirt is a nod to their team of the late 60s, who were spearheaded by club legend Colin Bell.

Inspired by the classic shirts of that era, PUMA's design features a round collar with maroon colouring alongside their traditional sky blue.

The away kit also has a nostalgic feel, featuring red and black vertical stripes that proved triumphant at the 1969 FA Cup, 1970 League Cup and 1970 European Cup Winners’ Cup finals.

City's third kit features a hooped design drawing inspiration from the Manchester worker bee, a symbol of Mancunian character that found its way from the Manchester coat of arms to the city streets, walls and galleries.

The hoops are treated with a special spray paint effect paying tribute to the creativity and artistry synonymous with Manchester.

Manchester United's new adidas strip features a retro-inspired collar which presents an evolved red geometric design, referencing the symbolic 'M' detail which featured on their third kit from last season and in the famous 'Snowflake' shirt from the 1990-92 campaigns.

A pinstripe design runs down the shirt with the traditional three black adidas stripes adorning the shoulders and white shorts, which is paired with black socks.

Meanwhile, their away jersey is white with red and black detailing, as well as a helix pattern which is intended to honour the club's DNA of "youth, courage and success".

For their third kit, the Red Devils will wear an all-over solar slime green jersey. Its graphic, vibrant use of colour, also incorporates similar geometric patterns which feature across the rest of this season’s kits.

The kit is finished with a crewneck collar that features a statement graphic drawing inspiration from the fashion culture of 90’s zeitgeist.

Newcastle's home shirt for the 2022-23 campaign celebrates the 130th anniversary of the club being founded.

Castore's design celebrates that storied history with classic black and white stripes complemented by modern touches and '130 years' etched on to the shirt.

The Toon Army's away kit has navy and gold detailing adorned with a sleeve print inspired by the Leazes Stand.

Newcastle have revealed a white third kit with green trimmings that will be worn in certain away games this term.

Nottingham Forest have released their home kit for their first season back in the top flight for 23 years.

The all red shirt features a two-tone Trent Bridge pattern on the sleeves but is currently sponsorless, with the club yet to reveal which company will adorn the strip.

It will be completed with white shorts and red socks.

The yellow and blue away kit, designed by Macron, is a throwback to one of Forest’s most iconic away kits — the strip worn by the side who lifted the 1978 League Cup.

The third kit is a blend of navy with sublimated blue and coral pattern. Adorning the sleeves is the Premier League badge to mark "We Are Back".

Southampton's new design draws inspiration from shirts worn in the the 80s by stars such as Kevin Keegan, Alan Ball and Charlie George.

In a reverse of the original colour arrangement, Saints will wear a predominantly white shirt with a red central stripe and badge.

The South Coast club describe their away kit release as their "boldest yet", with an aqua, teal and gold wave design taking inspiration from their proximity to the River Solent.

Their third kit, created in partnership with Hummel, has been designed to celebrate the city's rich aviation history and its connections to the RAF.

The dark green and black shirt features a subtle detail design, taking reference from propeller blades.

Tottenham's new home kit sees the classic lilywhite colouring accompanied by a neon detailing on the collar and sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks.

The home shirt launch is the first instalment of Spurs' 'Dare To Do' series, which provides a contemporary twist on the North London club's motto.

The away shirt is a deep lapis blue shade finished with black sleeves and flashes of volt on the neckline and cuffs, with the club’s famous cockerel emblem front and centre.

The third kit meanwhile is a striking rift blue with mystic navy print said to be inspired by Tottenham’s ever-evolving DNA.

West Ham's latest Umbro home kit sees their traditional claret and blue colours incorporated on the sleeves.

The shirt also aims to reflect the modern Hammers era, featuring a graphic inspired by the architectural lines of the club’s London Stadium. 

The Irons' all black away kit is jazzed up by a multi-coloured detailing on the sleeve.

The third kit features a white shirt with a vibrant spark which is inspired by the heritage of the industrial ironworks.

Wolves will have a new shirt sponsor for the 2022-23 season with AstroPay emblazoned across the Castore design.

The traditional all gold kit includes a matte shine fabric to the reverse which is intended to emulate flow and movement on the pitch.

The teal and gold strip away strip is inspired by the iconic girders and fixings of the Billy Wright Stand at Molineux. 

Further inspiration came from the club’s popular away kit between 1996 and 1998.

The Wolves third kit combines a light grey front with white raglan cut sleeves and a white back, which features a dark grey panel at the bottom.
