Mainz vs Bayern Munich - 2:30 pm (Bundesliga)

Bayern Munich have scored a record-breaking 109 times in the Bundesliga this season, rattling the net 4+ times in four of their last six outings in the division alone. Vincent Kompany’s champions have far too much firepower for their domestic opponents and they should prove that again when they visit Mainz. The Bavarians’ away assignments in Germany’s top tier have been averaging 4.2 goals since the start of the campaign, so expect big numbers again when they visit the MEWA Arena.

Wolves vs Tottenham Hotspur - 3:00 pm (Premier League)

Tottenham looked like a slicker attacking force in Roberto De Zerbi’s first home game in charge against Brighton, but those all-too-familiar defensive frailties eventually cost them in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Albion. Spurs need to go for the jugular again when they visit relegated Wolves and more chaos could ensue as a result. Each of Wanderers’ last five fixtures in league and cup have beaten a target of over 2.5 goals, and though results have been consistently poor, Wolves did manage to score in seven of their last nine home games.

Feyenoord vs FC Groningen - 3:30 pm (Eredivisie)

When Feyenoord play in Rotterdam, action levels tend to be high and their Eredivisie home games this season have been averaging a healthy 3.73 goals per 90 minutes, while 12 of their last 15 matches in all competitions on their own patch have produced over 2.5 goals. Groningen conceded four times when they last visited Feyenoord around this time last year, while three of the clubs’ last four encounters have seen at least three goals.

Manchester City vs Southampton - 5:15 pm (FA Cup)

Conquerors of Arsenal in the quarters, in-form Southampton continue their FA Cup adventure at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, where Man City lie in wait, in what could be a goal-filled semi-final. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in each of the Saints’ last six matches, and the Championship outfit showed against the Gunners in the previous round that they can ruffle feathers. City’s superior class in the final third should tell though, in a semi oozing with goal-scoring potential.

Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao - 8:00 pm (La Liga)

Atletico Madrid shipped three goals in their surprise loss at Elche (2-3) last time out and defensive issues have plagued them for weeks now. Their problems at the back have been manna for goal-market bettors however, and ten of Atletico’s last 12 fixtures in all competitions have rewarded over 2.5 goal punters. With Diego Simeone’s side unlikely to keep a clean sheet against Athletic Club on Saturday evening, the goals could flow in the capital again.

Toulouse vs Monaco - 8:05 pm (Ligue 1)

Toulouse's defensive standards have fallen off a cliff since the start of April, as evidenced by successive losses to PSG (1-3), Lille (0-4) and Lens twice in league (2-3) and cup (1-4). Monaco, who have scored 2+ goals in ten of their last 11 games, will be eager to prey on Toulouse's weaknesses at the back, and their pursuit of goals could make for an open, entertaining tussle at the Stadium de Toulouse. Nine of Monaco’s last 11 away fixtures in all competitions have also produced over 2.5 goals and we’re backing that trend to continue on Saturday.
