Bayern Munich are eyeing a record-extending 12th DFL Super Cup win when they travel to Signal Iduna Park to take on Borussia Dortmund.
The Bavarians won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal last season, securing their place in this match for the 14th time in the last 15 years.
Having finished second in the German top flight, BVB earned their place in the Super Cup for the first time since 2021, when they lost to Bayern at this stadium.

Team news
Dortmund's Maximilian Beier took a blow to the knee against Arsenal and was not risked against Roma. He will need to be assessed.
Waldemar Anton was in full training on Tuesday despite missing the Roma match and is set to play a part, but Emre Can and Nico Schlotterbeck remain sidelined.
Bayern are set to be without Konrad Laimer, who picked up a foot injury in the friendly win over RB Leipzig and was left out of the clash against Heidenheim.
Jamal Musiala collapsed after coming on against Heidenheim, just three days after he had done the same against Leipzig, and he is being treated for a 'neurological dysfunction'. The German is expected to miss out.

Prediction
After starting pre-season with a 2-1 loss to Wehen, Bayern have been in red-hot form since, winning all five matches and scoring an impressive 26 times during that period.
Dortmund will pose a much sterner test than most of those opponents and BVB have picked up some solid friendly results, beating Arsenal 3-2 and drawing 2-2 against Roma.
It may be best to swerve the match result and instead look at a three-leg bet builder, with under 10.5 corners the first port of call.
In last season's Bundesliga, Dortmund and Bayern both averaged under 10 corners, while five of the seven meetings have gone below that mark.
Goals are anticipated in this clash and it is hard to look past both Serhou Guirassy and Harry Kane to get on the scoresheet.
Dortmund forward Guirassy scored four goals in his last five appearances to finish off the 2025-26 campaign strongly and he has netted twice in pre-season, most recently in the 2-2 draw against Roma.
Kane's record speaks for itself. He scored 73 goals in 65 matches for club and country last season, while there were only 12 games in which he failed to net for Bayern.
Score prediction: Dortmund 1-2 Bayern Munich
